Its official, he wont be back. The character said "his father got a job out of town"... so doesn't look like he'll back any time soon. Maybe he had bad ratings on the show or they offered him less money than the others. I will say he was the worst dancer of the bunch. Tough to watch lol. But yes he is beautiful and I bet he'll have no prob getting another gig. As far as hot-- he's like untouchable. I wouldn't know what to do-- like freeze up if he was naked and ready to get it on. Stage fright, almost. TOO HOT.

'Glee' scoop: Chord Overstreet in negotiations to return

Chord Overstreet’s character Sam has been MIA from this season of Glee so far, but there’s a good chance that will change in the coming months: EW has confirmed that Overstreet is in negotiations to return as Sam, a.k.a. “Trouty Mouth,” later this year on the Fox hit. (TV Line first reported the news.)

The hope would be for him to do a handful of episodes and then potentially recur. Sam’s departure was explained in the season three premiere by his father getting a job in another town. But the big question is what this will mean for Amber Riley’s Mercedes, who began dating Sam in the season 2 finale but now has a new boyfriend. Meanwhile, a rep for studio 20th Century Fox would not confirm the news.

He wanted to be a cast regular and they offered him the same "reoccurring" status he had last year. So he walked and I think has now realized the show will go on without him and the show was a good deal for him...

He is working on his album and there were conflicts. They changed the storyline so that he can do both!! Lucky us!!!

Honestly, after this week's episode, I had decided I was no longer going to watch the show. The writing is just crap, I don't give a damn about most of these characters, and why are we doing ANOTHER coming out storyline when we JUST did that with Kurt?

And then I saw the preview for next week... Chord is not only shirtless, but he is literally ripping his clothes off?!?! Um, yeah, Tuesday at 8 is filled in on my calendar. I will cut any bitches who try to get between me and my Sam!
