I understand JUB's rules, if that is one. It's definitely smart. I just find it odd at a societal level, how once someone is 18 they're fair game to be taken advantage of by sleazy "barely legal just turned 18" porn companies, but even if an over 18 year old portrays someone just a day under 18 it's somehow morally wrong to show that person from a sitcom in boxer shorts. I think people take comfort in moral absolutisms, such as the 18 year old rule, whether it always makes sense or not. Because if people truly were concerned about the lack of free will, naivete, and impressionability someone has when they're 17 1/2, they wouldn't suddenly be OK with that same person being picked up by a porn producer the day they turn 18.

i'm glad that this post has been resurrected -- two replies after being dormant for over a year.

i've commented about him a couple of times in earlier threads and have been a fan of his ever since 'the middle' began. like some of the others here, i think he is absolutely the best part of the show. his character's attitude, his incredibly hot looks, and his whole persona is fun ... and sexy.

while the show is very well-written and all the characters have their shining moments, i'll never forget the episode when the college recruiter stopped by the house and 'axle' wowwed him with courtesy, intelligence, and the right questions. that made his character even more charismatic and attractive to me.

he sure is easy on the eyes, and i love long, bushy head of hair atop his cute, cute face.
