What kind of swimwear/gear is your favorite, then? Standard trunks (above--the-knee) Speedos? Something else? (hmm, what are the other options?...)

Back when I was much younger and slimmer I wore a speedo. Then as I started going to nudist camps, so I swim naked.

If I really must put on a swimsuit, maybe something like this with more of a split on the sides:

Long enough board shorts restrict your knee movements a little, and when I'm swimming, I like to have my limbs completely unrestricted, lol.

At the beach I wear trunks, but slightly longer than their pair you're showing there. I still have a ton of speedos from swim team, but never wear them at the beach. I just wear then as underwear now and then, I guess I've developed something of a kink/fetish with them.

I desperately, though, need to catch up on way too many years of not taking advantage of nude-swim situations.

The only bummer about the whole thing is the amount of guys wearing undies under their boardies down at the beach, which completely misses the point of boardies...

Guys definitely shouldn't wear underwear under boardshorts. It feels erotic to let your cock hang. More guys should do it. When a guy wears light colored boardshorts, very often you can see the outline of his dick pointing down his leg. I saw a guy playing frisbee at the beach in light gray boardies. Those shorts showed the world what nature gave him, and you could tell that he liked how easy it was to see his stuff flopping back and forth. His dick was about 4" limp, and it looked so hot!
