RuPaul's Drag Race - Season 2

*SPOILERS* for those who don't watch the show/most recent episode hasn't aired in your country yet.

So has anyone been watching? Had to ask because I searched around for a thread discussing season two but couldn't find one.

Didn't pay attention at all when the first season aired.Then my group of friends couldn't stop laughing at Britney/Carol Channing impersonations on the most recent episode. Decided to watch the first two episodes, fell in love with the whole concept of the show from the get go and watched the following two episodes.

Favourites for me so far are Tatianna, Pandora Boxx, Jujubee and Jessica Wild. Raven/Morgan piss me off for some reason. Tyra seems like a real bitch, especially in episode 2. Diva and not in the good way! Sahara's a bit of meh, hasn't really made an impact/not enough screentime.

Shangela shouldn't have gone so early! Her lip sync showdown with Sahara was HIGH-larious. When she stepped out of her dress , Sahara losing a piece of her weave during the performance and then both of them taking turns posing on the floor. Love it!

Pandora Boxx is my favorite. Her Carol Channing won me over, I personally thought she should've won that challenge. She may not be the best dressed which I sorta like. She's quirky and different. I hope she wins.

Tatianna is gorgeous obviously but I don't know if she's got what it takes to win the whole thing. I still love her though.

Morgan McMichaels & Raven are both fierce drag queens but their personalities are shit. I'm all for being a bitch but modesty is appreciated sometimes. You don't get to be THAT cocky and not have talent to back it up.

Jessica Wild is hilarious. Right now in the season, I don't think she's made a huge impact but I think she could be a dark horse. I wouldn't be surprised if she came from behind and stole the crown at the end.

Jujubee, Tyra and Sahara... they're just ok. There isn't anything special about any of them. I wouldn't be suprised if they were the next to go.

Jujubee is my favorite. I think she's a gorgeous women and funny as shit. Her backstage stuff is hilarious.

I'm not a huge fan of Tyra. I'm so annoyed with all the bitchiness.


I think this is a good season. Most of them are really talented.

I've decided Tatianna is my favorite for now, because she's the prettiest. I agree the Britney and Carol Channing impersonations were the best ones. Most of them were terrible though.

this show cracks me up and I really hate reality shows, but this one is straight up comedy genius.

My favorites are Jujubee and Raven.

Tyra and Morgan irritate me.

Pandora Boxx is creepy. There is something real shifty looking about her...it's in the eyes I think.

Tatianna is cool, but she really needs to step it up it the fashion department.

Glad sonique is gone.

Mistique that poor soul. The whole "I don't eat fried foods cause of my skin" bit had me weak. She knew she was making a fool of herself and couldn't admit it. You could tell she has had a hard time following direction all of her life.

FUCKIN love love love this show!!! but i do think season one was way better and i think there are to many parallels in contestants, like they tried to repeat last season.

i dont like Raven. she talks about herself too much and Morgan is way to full of herself for a yet to be seen reason

just saw the show for the first time. i thought the snatch game was hilarious. instead of paris hilton, he could have been christina aguilera and get in a fight with britney or pink lol. i dont know all their names but i like the one that played britney spears! so funny! i was rooting for raven at first but he is beginning to annoy me because he takes everything so seriously and is too diva, in a bad way. he is one of the more masculine looking when he's in drag, but he is a pretty cute guy. i can't stand tyra, bitch. the other black guy seems nice. the latino is so funny. the rest are just blah.

I finally caught up with the show (NO Logo here ) and I like JuJubee and Pandora box. Pandora is funny, she definitely gives me that Kathy Griffin vibe. Tyra and Raven may be a bitch sometimes but their cute to look at as a guy or in drag. I like Raven more than Tyra. I was confused when Tyra said she hates going outside in the day time in drag, then why the hell are you in the competition.

While Pandora may have done a GREAT job(and yes, she sure as hell did!), Jessica Wild was a sick headbanger... i don't see how anyone could be mad she won. But that's just me.

I'm just mad at Jujubee and Sahara... Juju for falling so flat that she had to be in the bottom, and Sahara... for doing her dance routine. AGAIN. And Tyra, the other Tyra... well, all i can say is, if there's anyone that prays in the church of Beysus, it's miss girlie... sadly, he had immunity.

I'm with Aquamatt on this one. As much as I adore Ms. Wild Pandora in my mind displayed what I thought a rocker chick was. But kudos to Ms. Wild for winning the challenge, she deserved it just as much as Pandora.

I'm sick of Ravens bitching. All she does is tear other people down. When I say other people I've referring to Tatianna. Seriously? Does she not have anything else to do other then to talk shit about her with Tyra?

Speaking of Tyra, that bitch needs to go. She has no stage presence even when she's trying to impersonate Beyonce. That bitch needs to go hoooooooome.

Jujubee gave an amazing lip sync performance of Black Velvet. Who knew Ms. Thing had it in her? Thank God it was a ballad since Sahara would have stayed if it was all about dancing.

I thought Raven should have won it. Jessica was good, but I think Raven edged her out a little bit. My girl Tatianna impressed me. Not only did she look the best, but she overcame the shyness and pulled it out. I wanted to see more of her performance. Pandora was great and had a strong 3rd place showing, IMO.

I'm so proud of Tati for overcoming her fears and glad that Jujubee stayed. I am so over Tyra and her obsession with Beyonce. Also she had the most manish voice during their performances. I laughed the whole time. I don't like how Ru is basically catering this competition to Tyra so she can win. She needs to get eliminated fast.

Okay. It's looking like Jujubee and Raven are racing for 1st and 2nd to the finish line. Raven is a bitch, but she brings it in the competition. Jujubee is her closest competition, with Pandora 3rd.

I'm starting to see Ru's favoritism for Tyra, because I think she should have been lip synching for her life with Jessica this week. She can't speak and I don't see her being a spokesperson at all. Her teeth bug the crap out of me too. Not cute!

Tatianna was shaky in the interview, but she's gorgeous and I think she could do better if she had more confidence. I couldn't believe it when she had such a shocked reaction to being safe at the end. She totally showed her cards there and effectively put herself out of the running. Instead, she should have had a "damn right!" attitude that showed the judges she didn't belong in the bottom 2.

With this challenge, basically all the girls kinda sucked. I kinda laughed when Rupaul had to explain what "reading" is as if we don't know.

Sad to see Jessica Wild go, but I wasn't ready to see Tati go yet. Raven's bitchiness is getting disgustingly rude. It stop being cute and cheeky last episode. Looking at the Untucked part, I'm like keep your mouth closed. She was the one that was dressed like a coke whore to me. Tyra should have went home, she did the worst and she has teeth like a dog.

But yeah, Tatianna definitely has to go this week if it isn't Tyra leaving. I think it'd definitely be bad for her and her fans if she's still there if Pandora/Jujubee leave the competition before her.

I would love for Jujubee to win. She has a good sense of humor and good looks. Tyra is pretty but does not seem to be very friendly or have a fun personality that could rile up a crowd.

Another thing that is hurting Tatianna is she is going with a toned-down "trap" look, trying to look like a real woman who could go out to the club and pull straight guys, rather than a totally fierce drag queen look. She even said on the show how she has straight guys hitting on her.

The judges aren't diggin' it. They were criticizing her clothes left and right. She needs to kick it up a notch (or a few) and get draggy.

So this isn't about the show exactly but I was sick last week and [not having anything better to do] watched an America's Next Top Model marathon on Oxygen. It was the season Jaslene won... I don't know if anybody else realized this or not but there was a photoshoot where the girls dressed up as men and shot with drag queens. One of the drag queens... Raven. She was in quite a few of the photos.
