(='.'=) and

Next time they should put a paper bag on her head. That would be the best photo of her ever.
Lady Gaga as Jo Calderone. Very.......interesting.

Can't we all let these alter egos just die already, its not cool anymore.
I wonder if this is the sort of thing lesbians find super sexy. I've had various friends that were lesbians over the last couple of years, and I just never saw what they saw in some of the girls they were attracted to sometimes.
That guy is hot. His lips are pretty cool. I like the "forlorn-brow" too.
I'm gonna say it's her. Only because I couldn't see any other reason for the magazine to feature that model if it wasn't Gaga.
For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been.'
"He" has a Shia Labeouf vibe, I don't think he's so bad looking.
Hmmm....
Firstly, Join Lady Gaga in Repealing "Don't Ask Don't Tell"
http://www.ladygaga.com/sldn/
She is an amazing woman, artist, and advocate and this thread is for the latest news, pictures, video clips... everything GAGA
Fellow little monsters unite!![]()
Can we get a merger on all her fucking threads? Please?
Even i'm sick of it - and i think she has talent.
i agree but Lady Gaga can never get too much love and the symbols are cute... (shameless plug, find them on creative formatting)
More importantly, Please please please call your senator
Answer Lady Gaga's call for action!
Tell your home state senators to end “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” by voting the week of September 20 in Washington, D.C.
Here’s the phone number to the Capitol switchboard – they’re staffed 24 hours a day: (202) 224-3121.
Need to know the name of your senator? Ask the operator and you’ll be transferred.
What to say while on the phone:
--Tell your senators to vote with Sen. Reid and Sen. Carl Levin in opposing the filibuster, defeat amendments to strike repeal, and defeat any crippling amendments.
--Senators should follow the lead of Sen. Carl Levin who will be managing the defense bill.
--It is critical that the vote on “final passage” takes place before senators leave for the election recess.
Call your senators now.

No, Lady Gaga can get too much love.
You stans seriously make it hard for other people that don't lick the artists' clit every 5 seconds to like her. You have to elevate her to the status of Gay God, and then pester every other human being on the planet about it.
I know where she stands.
I know she's remaining vocal when some aren't.
I know she has talent.
But for the love of fucking hell, even "gods" take a day off.
Why can't her stans?
And no, i'm not calling you little monsters - at least Mariah Carey came up with the best name for her dimwitted flock... lambs.
And one more point. I absolutely ABHOR people jumping on to the DADT fight because she's on it; I know i should view it as a good thing, but i consider it sad that you needed a celebrity to show you the way.
all i'm saying is Gaga has the fanbase, clout, and exposure to mobilize thousands of otherwise apathetic or on the fence fans. With that comes the abilty to open minds and change hearts. Regardless, if a couple bandwagoners join the fight, who does that hurt? And if those people who you "abhor" happen to swing the vote, i am grateful. All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

Six months ago, I wouldn't have even entered this thread. After seeing her on the Today Show Concert a few weeks ago, well, I have to say she's proof that you should never judge a book by it's cover. She's amazingly talented! And a beautiful human being.
Not sure if I can call myself a little Monster now since I've only just become a fan.
Lady Gaga Surprises Crowd at NYC's Oak Room
Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance last night at the Oak Room at the Plaza Hotel, performing four songs accompanied by the After Dark Jazz Trio and thoroughly shocking the unsuspecting crowd. Gaga wore a fur dress and fishnets for the impromptu set, to which she brought her parents. "She called a few hours before and asked if she could sing," an Oak Room spokesperson told Page Six.

I think this concert is a very significant milestone in Gaga's career. Something changed mid 2010 concerning the negativity towards her. I think this was when she proved that she *is* very talented vocally (no, not the level vocally of Christina or Mariah) and a great stage performer! Truth is, you can't say anything negative about her now without sounding like a hater.
Her performance of "Teeth" is my favorite! Epic!

http://pop-ideologies-make.blogspot....with-boys.html
The thing I absolutely love about Gaga’s performances is they’re juicy little narratives that always tell a sexy story.
“Boys, Boys, Boys” is the performance with the sexiest action. Lady Gaga is joined by six male dancers who perform burlesque. They’re her “gay boys”, two black boys, a black-white combo, two white boys and a Latino boy. Gaga calls them her gay boys, but one is straight.

I'm so excited for "Born This Way" and can't wait to see what GaGa does next. Her work just seems to get bigger and better each time. I'm excited to see what theme she deals with this time, because "The Fame" was about fame and "The Fame Monster" was about fear. It's going to be interesting to see what the next chapter will be.
you can fool some of the people some of the time but...![]()
Yeah, I used to hate her until I saw that appearance on Ellen, and some of her other live piano/vocal stuff.

She will be making a special announcement concerning "Born This Way" via Twitter on New Years Eve at midnight.
A compilation of videos of Gaga singing live
I would really appreciate that you take the time to watch the video if you don't like Gaga but please don't comment things like "another post about Gaga?". If you are tired of posts about Gaga just ignore them, there are a lot of us who do want them
Enjoy

That's the first I've ever seen of Gaga. I'm glad you like whatever you like, but I don't find the mix of exhibitionism and hypereroticism appealing in pop music.
Admittedly, the whole rock concert genre has passed my by, although it was born when I was a boy. Loud music of any sort has always put me off.
When Madonna took the whole shock approach to market her wares, it seemed a lowering of art to me. Lady Gaga seems for all the world as if she is a revival preacher, pounding the pulpit with the gospel of Madonna and Cher.
To be sure, she has the pipes, and she has done what she has to do to break away from the pack and distinguish herself.
I think we all hear in artists what our inner voice is trying to sing, so I would conjecture your voice is looking for a mouthpiece that goes overboard, that breaks away from the confines of convention and mediocrity. As such, I'm glad you have found that vicarious outlet.
My inner voice waxes more to the melancholy and the grandiose, so classical music and tragic arias are more my thing.
Thanks for sharing your joy.![]()
I agree with you and thank you for sharing your opinion in a respectful way. Gaga is a 100% about breaking the molds, and going overboard as you said and is understandable not everyone enjoys that kind of music or even attitude.
I think the slowest songs I've heard of Gaga are "Brown Eyes" and "Wish You Were Here"
The "breaking the molds" observation may be a clue as to why older gay men are not necessarily on the bandwagon (pardon the pun) for Lady Gaga.
Most of those molds were previously broken by Madonna, but for a new generation, the schtick is being repeated in a new day.
As a purist, I enjoyed disliking Madonna in her day as well. Equal disdain for all.![]()
Wow this is really a spectacular analysis of someone you're not a fan of in a way that not only remains respectful throughout, but also acknowledges talent where it is clearly present. If only more people could see things the way you do.
I am a legitimate fan of Gaga because she makes music that, on its surface, appears lighthearted and meaningless, but underneath the glitter and electricity reveals deeper lyrical meaning. On top of that, she's one of few major pop stars today that has true, raw, powerful vocal ability (Beyonce is the only other one I can think of off hand). Those unwilling to see that will miss out, but to each his own. Clearly what she does is not for everyone and that's understandable. Plus the chick is weird as hell which I find pretty awesome.

^Kindness will get you everywhere.![]()
This is the only reason I am a fan of Lady GaGa. Her real, powerful, and amazing ability as a vocalist. She has been singing and playing the piano since she was a little girl and worked really hard to get where she is today. She struggled, lived in poverty, got dropped by a label. She writes every single one of her own songs. And, like she said in the video, she puts on a show with REAL instruments and NEVER lip-syncs!
I wish some people would look beneath the surface with her instead of judging what they see on the outside, because this woman actually deserves a lot of respect.
Here are some performances before she made it big:

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8CUn2VsgzU&feature=related[/ame]
Very, very, very well said. I don't think people actually realize that for many years, she was a legitimate starving artist who earned every ounce of what she's accomplished with nothing but pure talent and fierce passion for music, unlike so many other pop stars who really just got lucky. The right place at the right time is not Gaga's story. I think that is what truly makes her special, not all the outrageous costumes and over-the-top performances.

Upcomming star? I think she has the talent to be a major star. What do you guys think.

I don't think she will make it. She is a Lady Gaga rip-off
Her voice on it's own is not half bad, and I think it gets overshadowed a bit by her Gaga Theatrics™
Americans need to keep their guns so they can protect themselves from gun violence just like Nancy Lanza did. And like Chris Kyle did. And like Gabby Giffords did. And like Tom Clements did.
This is a very beautiful thread! I'm so glad to read it! I agree with Esquire0399 about Hard-Up1. We need more HardUp1's in the world in general!
Thanks for all the great videos too!
I think 2011 will be a very successful year for Gaga! God bless her.
Lady GaGa gave her little monsters the Christmas present she promised them on Twitter: an announcement regarding her next album, "Born This Way." The first single will be released on February 13, 2011 and the album will be released on May 23, 2011.

2009 The Fame, 2010 The Fame Monster... 2011 is gonna Gaga's year, again. Born This Way will be EPIC!
If Gaga had performed in the last VMAs they would have been the best VMAs ever.

May is a long wait for 'Born This Way', but in the meantime we'll get the single and video! I can wait!
Good to have you on board the GagaJubTrain, Josh! Post the SHIT outta this thread! Anything new or old, post it here, k?
Love the pic!

No matter how much I try to hate Gaga, I just can't. Her music is catchy as hell and her shows are always highly entertaining.
I just hope 'Born This Way' will live up to her own hype. She did proclaim that 'BTW' will be the best album of the decade. I kinda hope she's right but is it bad that a small portion of me kinda wants her to flop just a little?
I really hope it is the best album of the decade, that would be great for gay rights and who doesn't want to listen to an awesome album?
You know...I think seeing gaga flop a little bit might be entertaining. She would probably ramp up her theatrics and costumes and shock surprises to stay relevant.
I honestly don't think much would happen if Gaga flops, And I think it's happened before. Like with Alejandro, it was her first single not to be #1 in the US but nothing really change. For Gaga to make a change we would need a big flop and I'm sure none of us wants that.
Besides, she's slowly growing as an artist which is just amazing. Go and watch some videos of The Fame and The Fame Ball, or hell, from her performances before Gaga. It's super entertaining noticing how she slowly changes
