Many male stars who get their start and early success in films get this strange reaction against being seen just as a pretty face or a hot body. Look at Brad Pitt (ooh, yes please!): gorgeous face and super-hot body, but after a couple of pretty-boy films he decided he didn't want a career based on his appearance, so started picking difficult, rubbish films in which he could be a 'proper actor', and, unfortunately, look grungy. He was hot in "Troy", but his other films have been indifferent. If you've got it, flaunt it!
