I just watched the last 2 episodes back to back. Diva was really fun and Tina finally got another solo, and DAMN what A SOLO! Hung Up by Madonna. That's amazing (Tina's dancing sucked though lol).

Now "I Do" (the last episode) was a giant WTF for me...especially these 3 things:

-Mr. Schue gets dumped on his wedding day and everybody keeps partying. Even the Glee club. Yes he asked them to but still, how unsensitive (and way too unrealistic even for Glee).
-Quinn hooking up with Santana? What the flying fuck? That was so random and unnecesary. And don't they know anybody else besides the Glee club that they keep hooking up with each other??
-Rachel is suddenly in an open relationship and decided to fuck Finn on Valentine's. Man Lima's Rachel is nowhere to be found...That was too much.

Yeah, this was a head scratcher of an episode. I have been to dismal weddings before. It's like the mood of an election where you are at the loser candidate's party. You try to be happy but you just want to get the hell out of there. Again, if Mr. Shue was written off the show, nobody would miss him.

This episode made me realize why I hate Blaine as a character. He is in the emotional state of a child especially when juxtaposed to the "adult" Kurt now. I know there isn't much character depth in Glee but after the bedroom scene with Kurt and Blaine, when Blaine goes: "so we're together again, right?" Kurt just shrugs and doesn't even touch him before he leaves. Blaine takes this omission as a yes which is completely wrong. Kurt is clearly over Blaine and just wanted some play.

Why the fuck did Shue invite Sue? She was just there to start some shit and soak up the drama.

I'm not surprised that Quinn left the Isle of Man to visit the Isle of Lesbos. If you check out the past seasons, you could sometimes get a glimpse of the sexual tension between Quinn and Santana.

Nice to see Artie get some (and that his Lil' Artie is fully functional), but I have no idea why he kept tripping over himself for some bitch who wasn't even 10% as hot as she thinks she is.

Looks like Brody is hooking to pay the bills. I'll bet that Professor Bitch only got to fuck him because she paid for it. $10 says Rachael finds out about Brody's side job when one of Kurt's gay friends tells her that Brody is the most popular rentboy at NYADA.

Speaking of Rachael and making dollars: Looks like she's going to need some $$$ to either take care of her soon to be baby, or $$$ to "take care" of her soon to be non-baby. Maybe she can give it to Kurt and Blaine to raise, so the Circle Of Gay can continue.

Again, I attended a wedding where the premise was a friend knocked up his GF and she demanded they got married before she had the child. I thought "I Do" was a pretty funny episode, albeit total fan service for various shippers, but Sue had me LOL-ing the entire time.

Santana & Quinn had more chemistry in one scene then Santana & Brittany ever did in their relationship.

Rachel & Finn... "We're endgame." Very subtle writing there, so who cares how bad they are for each other since they'll end up together anyway. Her possibly being pregnant was a total yawn. Like we're suppose to believe Rachel Berry would be that irresponsible or even care.

Kurt & Blaine should have had some sort of lead up, their scenes were very random. Nice, but gave me whiplash. The last time we saw them together was on Christmas with Kurt seemingly uncomfortable around Blaine. Fast forward to V-Day and they're in the back seat of a Prius making out. Kurt made his intentions known, it's sex without strings, but like Blaine said: it's a front for feelings that he still harbors. It's no wonder Blaine took their hookup as confirmation that things are very much on the mend to a full blown relationship. (Let's face it, they're "endgame" too.)

So glad Tina's crush on Blaine has concluded, since that went on for two episodes too long, Vapo-rape indeed.

The newbies need to fuck off. I get so annoyed looking at them.

What is up with storylines on Glee recently? I mean I know that they've never been the best written episodes in the world and let's face it some of the earlier episodes where they became tribute episodes was just a total car crash idea (although some were done better than others.) But recently the writers don't seem to want to stick to a storyline at all. I don't feel there is any commitment in anything other than the Rachel and Finn storyline. It's quite sad that it was established a long time ago that Rachel is the star of the show and so we're going to follow her for as long as Lea Michelle is willing to sign a contract. There is no way the writers are just going to "let her go" at the end of a season.

I do have to say that Glee has bored me considerably over this season, there has just been nothing worth following because it's all resolved an episode or two later. No long term storyline arch and those that do get long term storylines lack any sort of personality (Marley and Ryder. I don't mind Jake as a character but he's still too bland). All the Glee kids are basically interchangable these days. It was better when everyone had a personality (albeit a 2 Dimensional stereotype) but now you could just take most of the lines said and they would fit with any character. Like who the hell would have ever thought Marley could even be in the running during the Diva episode, why did she have that stupid off-handed comment to Tina when she's no Diva herself?

As for the recent episode "I Do", I found myself quite impressed with Jayma Mays, even though it was mainly because of the difficulty of "Getting Married Today" which she performed amazingly. This episode read like bad fanfiction where everyone hooks up with somebody despite there being a major and life changing issue just happened. No one seemed to care that Mr Schu had just been left at the alter and when the party started (why the hell?) everyone just seemed to forget why they were there. The problem, I find, with this show is that with a "main cast" of twelve (the Glee club apparently has to have twelve although I think that was forgotten a long time ago) then you don't have a lot of spare room for outside characters so the idea of the Glee club becomes this incestuous mix of who is dating who and it turns out that by the end of the show everyone has dated everyone else because you physically can't introduce too many more characters. I said it at the time and I'll continue saying it (despite how much I love Santana and Quinn), the show was doomed when they couldn't just let them graduate. When they graduate they need to graduate, maybe one or two can hang around but don't litter the episodes with "cameos" from old students. The wedding is the only exception to this rule because they should all be together when their favourite teacher gets married (does he not have any other friends? Like seriously, is it not a bit worrying that he is so close to his students and yet can't make any other friends?)

Argh, it annoys me because I try so hard to find good things to say about Glee but it's getting to the point where the only good thing about the show is the pretty people on it (what happened to when Glee was about the bottom of the social rung? There is no way some of these guys are underdogs)

Each episode this season has been a self-contantined unit, one doesn't need to watch the previous show to know WTH is going on since the writers don't seem to remember. I'm a fairly new fan of the series, but am now fully caught up, after receiving seasons 1-3 as a Christmas gift. No doubt this current season is the weakest, one of the factors is the split narrative. It's just not working at all. It's going to be interesting to see what is going to happen next season with a lot of the principle characters from Lima graduating. Which has basically become The Blaine Show (featuring Sam, Tina and Brittany) with sprinkles of Jake, Marley, and Ryder. The newbies are so underdeveloped, bland, interchangeable, forgettable (who is the kid with dreads again?), etc, that there's just no way they can carry that side of the storyline. I believe Artie, Tina, Brittany and Sam will either be dropped or regulated to guest star status at the end of this season with Blaine moving to NY (along with Finn). So now Glee will have all their heavy hitters in NY whereas Lima will have... no one.

- Darren Criss will never make it in [dramatic] films. He gives horrible face. He will be fine in theatre though.
- Brody a drug dealer? I don't buy it. Gigolo, makes a lot more sense.
- Oh Ryan Murphy, so much crappy 80s music shoved into one episode. Not another teen movie was 10x better at parodies than Glee will ever be.
- Santana can talk a lot of smack but nobody can dish it back to her? Come on.
-Fuck Mr. Shue. He is a Marty Stu at this point and needs to just go away permanently.

Since the HS side was one big jukebox, here are some of the musical numbers that stood out:

Shout -- The big 500th performance number had a lot of energy and looked a lot of fun. But having Blaine & Brittany on lead vocals? Just no. Both are definitely the top tier of dancers but this cover was so lifeless and flat that it almost took me away from the dancing. I say this as a newly fan of Blaine/Darren Criss, but there is just too much of him on this show. TPTP need to deal back how many songs/performances he's featured in, but I suspect Blaine overload will continue.

Come What May -- The sap in me thought this was really sweet. This performance worked because it set up Kurt's POV: he clearly has feelings for Blaine despite wanting to move on. From the very little that we know and see of Adam, I'm liking him. I hope they don't royally fuck him up just so that Kurt will have no other choice but Blaine.

Footloose -- This should have been the big 500th number. It's a shame that Artie is sidelined so much because he's the best singer on the HS side, IMO. Very fun number.


"I Do" had Rachel flipping her period calendar to March, indicating a time jump, yet Santana voice over says it's only been a week since she's been in NY. Oh Glee.. gotta love that continuity. I've said it before in this thread and I'll say it again: I would proudly watch a NY version of this show any day. Rachel, Kurt, Adam, and (especially) Santana made this episode for me.

Watched this week's episode finally and it was probably the best of the season so far.

- Seriously, a catfish scenario? Maybe Murphy is more topical than I give him credit for.
- Blaine is still intolerable. I will have to watch Darren Criss on Kathy this coming week to see if makes him come out.
- Santana, oh, sigh... If the writing wasn't so poor, we could actually see some acting ability on this show.

Finn & Will? Terrible and who cares. The boy-band mashup was even worse. Ryder & Unique? Feud came out of left field and was quickly resolved, but thought their mashup was the best. Sue & Blaine? I assume this show has no rights to Mariah's music, because "I Still Believe" isn't even her song. Their mashup was more of a medley and just didn't mesh. The constant fangirling over Blaine this season is really turning me off this character, which is crazy because he was the reason I became hooked. The ass licking -- ok, what is up with the obsession on his ass, when it's not all that impressive to begin with? -- has gotta stop. Blaine's "loss" is him getting to be co-captain, essentially a win. Sam & Blaine's friendship just bores me so didn't care if they have some plan to take down Sue, and since Blaine always prevails, they likely will. Poor Tina is now back to swaying in the background now that her crush on Blaine is over (though Sue's cracks on her were pretty funny).

As much as I enjoy Santana both her antics and "Cold Hearted" left me meh in this one.

I can see where it comes from, but I think it's kind of out of left field for his character. Might have fit someone like the young Puck more.

I was 50/50 on the episode. I'm not really into Blaine, so it's nice to see him get knocked down a peg by losing to Coach Sue, who has finally become fun again now that they seem to have sent her baby on the same bus as Chuck Cunningham on Happy Days and Seven on Married With Children. Becky, of course, is awesome as ever. I actually like Blaine's friendship with Sam - I truly hope they don't fuck and stay just friends, but Ryan Murphey hasn't met a tired cliche he doesn't like.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Ryder's catfishing will pan out. Is she really a girl? Is it Jake trying to troll him in revenge for kissing Marley? Is it Kitty weaving another tangled web of deceit? And who shot JR?

Thank you. The irritating part is their true luv being hammered into every other episode nowadays when they're not even together. Blaine is definetly the golden gay boy, he's class president, sings lead constantly, has a crush on his str8 bro, and now is co-captin of his cheerleading team. All story lines that Kurt had but were met with disappointments, for example I didn't recall Sue pursuing Kurt to stay on as a Cheerios even after leading them to a National's win. It's very easy to forget that he is a "gold star gay" when he's constantly fawned over as being the best at everything.

I did like that Unique as a transgender was addressed, but I think the Sadie Hawkins dance episode would have been a much better vehicle for it. Ryder didn't seem to have any problems previously but then all of a sudden it's an issue? It just set the tone for a mind numbing episode. I find Kitty to be too cartoonish, her being Team Unique didn't shift her in my favor whatsoever. But good for her, I guess.

I loved this episode so much, especially since it could have gone all wrong. For example:

I was worried that Brody was going to sweet-talk his way back into Rachel's good graces, but thank god she didn't. Goodbye Human Blow-Up Doll, Hello Santana!

I was also worried that Sam was going to pull a Quinn and declare a hunger for same-sex action, but not only did they stay just friends, Trouty Mouth was cool with Gay Mary Sue lusting for his roll of Life Savers. Speaking of crushes, I loved it when Sam called out Tina on the batshit crazy stuff she did when she was going all Fatal Attraction on Blaine. And that WHAM! routine? Now I want Glee to get me pregnant.

Fondue For Two? I'd like more, sir! Seeing Brit-brit teach Kitty to dial down the bitch from an 11 to a 7 was awesome.

Unique werked it as Baby Spice (was there any doubt?), and Marley made an amazing Posh Spice.

So glad they kept that stupid Shue/Emma wangst out of the episode. Just fucking deal with it already, Brillo Head.

Best of all, they brought the motherfucking Phil Collins and ABBA! Every denim fiber of my jeans are now infused with my jizz.

The only down side is there was no development of the Ryder/Internet Girl story. Still, this episode gets at 9.8/10

In the minority on this latest episode it was better then last week's, which isn't saying too much, but ultimately this one left me asking... why?

Blaine/Sam -- Like Tina's crush on Blaine, which is now this running joke at her expense, this should have ended three episodes ago. In this latest one Blaine's feelings were clearly more then just a mere crush, in fact, it appeared he loves Sam just as much as he loves Kurt. Him serenading "Against All Odds" -- talk about wrong song choice of the season! -- to Sam in front of glee club was all sorts of uncomfortable to watch. Then his poor cover up that it was about Kurt made him look like a shallow asshole. Nothing wrong with having crushes, everyone in a relationship or otherwise has them, but it was taken way too far here. Glee is trying to tell me that Blaine/Kurt are forever yet it was "Kurt, who?" But I know once Kurt is in Blaine's orbit again all this will be forgotten and he'll be all about him.

Rachel/Kurt/Santana -- I like how Santana is magically back without any explanation. It's not like they didn't have a family meeting to kick her out or anything last week. But anyways, I loved the interaction between the three in the bathroom and beyond. I've always enjoyed Santana but the major plus from this season is showing that both Rachel, when she's not being written as an idiot who can't think or do for herself, and Kurt are this show's strongest factors no matter how much they're regulated to B-plots. I'm loving the character Kurt more and more which wasn't the case at all initially. Really enjoyed all the guilty pleasures on the NY side.

Guilty Pleasures @ McK -- Some of the guilty pleasures featured were more appropriate for individuals that were born in the mid-80's/raised during the 90's. Like would kids in HS nowadays know "Small Wonder"? Were these kids the right age when Spice-mania took place in '96-'97? Are kids still even reading "Goosebumps"? It was hard to suspend disbelief when those were moments in time I vividly remember but strongly doubt anyone under the age of 20 would. The song choices were rather weak, I thought, mainly because none of them were all that embarrassing to admit.

The past few weeks has been filled with more entertainment news off set then on: Cory Monteith going to rehab, Heather Morris being pregnant, and Naya Rivera dating Big Sean. Wish 'em all the best. Season 5 has yet to be given the green light and the latest rumor is the current show runners maybe getting the axe. Since this season will end in cliffhangers/shockers one more full season to wrap up loose ends should happen.

Early buzz on tomorrow's show has been rather positive, so I'm hoping it lives up to all the hype.

Just catching up with season 4. The guy Rachel was dating (Brody?) turning out to be a gigolo was unexpected. He did make for great eye candy though.

I really feel like many of these episodes are very, very hit or miss for me. A lot of it seems disconnected as they always switch back and forth from NY to Ohio and some of the characters aren't there for a few episodes but then suddenly decide to show up.

- The new cheerleader is a total bitch.
- I don't like Unique's character at all.
- I wish they'd put Sue in more.
- The whole Mr. Shue/Finn thing was so over the top.
- I'm glad Rachel didn't go back to Brody
- I love Santana
- I love the friendship between Tina & Blaine.
- I loved Sue taking down Blaine in the competition.
- Mercedes still hasn't done anything as good as busting Kurt's window and then singing about it.

I always thought Unique as that would be the most logical thing because those two had a scrum but Glee is never logical.

Politics aside, speaking from a pure plot perspective, this episode was a total failure. I watched this with my roomie and we basically concluded: "would I care if any of these teenagers died?" Outside of Britney [aka the only McKinley teen with some acting talent] we said 'no'." That has always been the problem with Glee. There's very little if any invested emotion in any of these characters [or PSA plotlines] still at McKinley. The only time I have been moved in a Glee episode was when Sue's sister died. Just wait till next week when they pretend that nothing happened.

Yes, this episode was a ratings grab and nothing more. Jane Lynch opened up that this was her last season on Glee and mind you, Glee HAS NOT been renewed for a 5th season yet. With Cory in rehab, Heather Morris preggers and Ryan Murphy getting a show on HBO, I am sure the Fox execs are weighing in on those factors too.

I was thinking they were going to use this "Very Special Episode" to kill off Britney or at least have her in the hospital long enough to give Heather Morris maternity leave. I didn't expect Sue's to get fired or get written off in such a horrible, hacky manner. When she made up that gun lie, I figured it was really Becky behind it.

As for Ryder, I was spot on about the catfishing, but unless Karofsky or Becky left their cellphone in the choir room, it's neither of them. Still, accusing Marley or Jake right off the bat without proof was stupid. And if he suspected that someone in Glee Club was texting him, why didn't he call them up earlier and smoke them out then? Now the culprit is going to set their phone on silent so he/she can't get caught. I thought Britney was supposed to be the stupid one! (If Ryder still wants to know who it is, he can find someone who knows how to track ISPs).

Speaking of Britney and stupid - The KKKK? The comet was a dead ladybug? Oh Britney, please don't ever change.

Finally, we have Blaine and Tina.

Did Jane Lynch want out? Wouldn't be suprised if she asked to go...the character is such a cartoon, it may end up hurting her career in the long run....the part when she was confessing- I had to laugh when she said she's done everything right for 20 years....bullying children is right, huh? She would have been fired season 1 for just half the crap she pulled on kids!

The most recent season is much better than last season. There's been more good-to-great episodes than poor-to-bad ones. This episode was the only really bad one, IMO. Even the "bad" episodes were mostly so-so.

I just had an epic idea: If Ryder wants to find out who catfished him, and get revenge at the same time, he should hook up with the Fake Katie. She's already sweet on him, and Ryder seemed like he was digging her (until he realized the truth), so he should hit that anyway. All Ryder has to do is take her to Glee Club and say that "Thanks to the fake Katie, I found the real Katie!"....then just look for the classmate suffering from the world's worst case of butthurt.
