It doesn't take a super-sleuth to see that he rarely see his GF. They're photographed together a few times a year, tops. Whether that means he's gay or not? Who knows. He's really good friends with fellow player Juan Monaco. They seem so close. Whenever they're photographed together, they look more in love than Rafa ever does in photos with his GF.

I think there's a possibility, but really there's nothing too concrete.
