the way he plays, frankly, I'd be VERY suprised if he makes it to 30- the knees will get worse every year- if he is taking the rest of the year off, he should have surgery- Martina rehabed/recouped in 6 weeks from hers- past 50, he should be fine by Australia if he does it.

I think Rafa plays some of the most electrifying shots in tennis. The forehand crosscourt pass against Federer at the AO was extraordinary. I would far rather watch Rafa, Novak and Murray than any other players and can't wait to have him back,

I don't get why everyone keeps complaining about his face. Maybe his face isn't perfect or whatever, but it's still pretty nice imo. He has that boyish charm about him, and he's much better good looking than Djokovic imo. I'm all for the face, and his face was actually what made me notice him. I think he's cute. That said.. his ass is perfection. I do understand why his ass gets so much attention

I'm sad to hear this, but not surprised. He's been sick for a while. I'm not even sure if he does have a virus, I think he didn't want to play because he wasn't sure about his form. He's been out for so long, you know.. so he probably knew he wouldn't do well anyway. Maybe it's better to just take some more time off, get some rest and practice, then come back stronger than ever.

It sucks though.. Djokovic will definitely win AO again, sigh. I don't like him and I'm sick of him winning everything. Tennis is not the same without Rafa. I hope he comes back soon!
