Hugh Jackman is a truly handsome man in a way that only the Aussies can be. I don't know what they feed guys over there, but there are specimens like Hugh all over the place (if you like that kind of thing).

Incidentally, on the last 'Forbidden Broadway' album (a kind of running lampoon on musical theater), Hugh Jackman was mercilessly ridiculed for always talking about how 'straight' he is. The Jackman character is constantly droning on about how he is in a 'hetero' relationship with his 'beautiful wife' in his 'hetero life'. Does Jackman do this in real life? I guess after playing Peter Allen (a high-camp aussie singer/dancer who was Judy Garland's protegé and who ended up marrying Liza Minelli for a short while), maybe Hugh felt he had to let the world know that he was no nancy-boy.

Anyway, it's very funny and kind of makes you like Jackman even more – quite apart from the fact that he is card-carrying gorgeous!!!

Hugh is gorgeous. The Woody Allen movie is called "Scoop" and it comes out July 21 or 28. He also has a movie coming out this fall which I will be lining up to see because it has him and the incredibly sexy Christian Bale as dueling magicians.

Hugh is one of those actors who looks very different when he's not working in a movie than when he is. I've seen some pictures of him between roles where he looked positively sickly. White as a ghost, and not very buff at all. He obviously works feverisly before a role to get pumped up. Either he works on a natural tan beforehand or they do it with makeup.

I like both his looks, but there are definitely working and non working versions of HJ.
