Violent rape... and a huge context of child abuse... very very disturbing, imo... but the movie is very well directed, and the actors are wonderful, so I think it's a great film, but nudity inside is not what I would call "erotic"...

Well.... I was 13/14 yo when I watched "Saved by the bell"... and I used to imagine that kind of things yet.... am I a perv ?....

I growed up with this guy... I remember that other show where he used to be shirtless in every episode... (but I forgot the title... .... "D.C. maybe ?) I remember hot scenes in a shop, buying a shirt... and another, running everywhere with only half a pyjama.... (I would kill for pics...)

Now, I watch NYPD, and the only thing I think is "Get that shirt off !!!!.... Fuck the girl !!!.... Fuck this guy on that table !!!!!.... Fuck everybody !!!..." (well.... not Sipowitz... he's married...)

It wasn't that bad, but yeah, I guess he'd make an ok Peter Parker. I'd be surprised though, as from what I've read and the films he's done so far, he appears to shy away from the big blockbusters, opting instead for smaller films with potential cult status. I'm no expert though and no doubt people will disagree with that observation (probably someone on here that knows him).

I think Jake Gylenhaal would make a better Spidey though.

so really, i find joseph to be extremely do-able, and he's got just a hint of resemblance to heath ledger in the face. either way, everytime i see him in a movie he becomes hotter and hotter to me. He's done the movie "Mysterious Skin" where he played a gay hustler, appeared on That 70's show playing a gay character, and then was also in the very gay movie "Latter Days" which begins to raise questions of his sexuality...or maybe he's just "gay-friendly" who knows. I want to clarify that on the topic of Joseph's sexuality, him being either way would not be a problem. Its not that I care, necessarily, but I was just bringing up the topic as conversation, just because he has an interesting resume of roles that could potentially point in that direction, and its not typical that an actor's agent allows them so many roles of a questionable nature because every role an actor takes affects their marketability and their fuck-ability (which is ACTUALLY a term in Hollywood). Realize that the actual labeled genre for the movie "Latter Days" is Gay/Lesbian Romance. This being the case, that means that everyone in that movie took this role with the understanding that this movie would be viewed by an almost EXCLUSIVELY gay audience, as it was not meant to be an artistic movie (which could be said about "Mysterious Skin"). Therefore, an actor who is NOT trying to build a career with the word "homosexual" attached to it won't typically do something like that except for 2 reasons (and i know this because I'm an actor, myself):

1)They are straight, but they realize that the majority of their personal audience is GAY, so they entertain the illusion because that's where all of their fame is coming from.
2)They are actually gay, but are not out, so they take on gay parts because they feel they perform best when being natural, so to an outsider it looks as if they are just a REALLY great actor who selectively picks tough roles.

Either way, my personal thoughts are that the man is all around amazing both to look at, and when it comes to talent. Thats all I'm saying.
