Anyway, I wasn't responding to a statement about people with stellar film careers. I was responding to the statement that there are only two out gay actors that could be used as comparison to JGL. If you read above what I quoted, and what YOU wrote:

"The only out gay actors we have are Ruperett Everett and Neil Patrick Harris. When the pickings are THAT slim, then who do you expect me to compare him to?"

I responded to what was written.... there ARE more out gay actors than those two. You could compare JGL to any of those in regards to how coming out affects your career, after all that WAS the subject being discussed. Would you fuck everyone on the list above? Probably not... I know I'm not dying to jump in bed with Leslie Jordan, even if he is a brilliant actor.

I don't think that's completely true. I think there's a possibility that self-loathing Hollywood casting directors, directors (Don Roos hello) etc won't hire him because, "the fantasy will be ruined in the public's eyes," but JGL's love isn't being a leading man in major motion pictures--it's independent fare in which he shines so brightly. If he's gay or whatever, those indie people won't care as much as you'd think.

Plus, his fan-base skews quite young to begin with. His fans went campaigning for Obama, as did he. Those types of crowds just don't care (just like they didn't care about NPH or J. Groff being gay), even though people here in town would swear they do.

JGL is like NPH. Both child stars who have come into their own on the big and small screen and both way too talented for people to give a shit.

Inception actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt got a very real injury while filming over the weekend.

Playing a bicycle courier in new movie, Premium Rush, Joseph, 29, got a very nasty gash on his arm when his bicycle slammed into the back of a New York taxi.
The actor, who ended up getting 31 stitches in his arm, posted a grisly video of the aftermath on his website yesterday.

He wrote; 'Busted through the rear window of a cab. Luckily got my elbows up. Coulda been way worse. No, but it was my fault, I was going too fast.'

No stranger to physically-demanding scenes after action-packed thriller Inception, Joseph seemed to relish the real-life drama.
He tweeted yesterday: 'Wanna see a lot of my blood? 31 stitches today… D (caution gore).'

I don't know if the "reveal" is that big of news as Joe's fans have been surfing Dan Gordon-Levitt's site for a few years, but it's still cool to see Dan get a mention. Seems like an enormously creative and down-to-Earth guy.
