This week's episode was great. Jason took a full tube of V (vampire blood) when he only needed a couple of drops to make his dick hard. It got so hard he had to go in the bathroom at the police station and jerk-off. His screams, when he came, were heard all over the building. I think Ryan and Anna do a good 'classic southern". Louisiana has a lot of accents. It is good they do not have them do Cajun. The neighbor dude this week, Renee, did it really well. He must be a native. Although, I saw an old movie where Dennis Quaid did it really well. Both classic southern and Cajun are spoken in that part of the state. In New Orleans, there is a 3rd accent that sounds almost like New York. By the way, Dolly's accent is more Appalachian Mountain than classic southern.

Definitely so with Epsiode 4; they spent way too much time with the bloated wiener. And I think maybe the dialog was off.... 5 made up for it in spades. I'm so glad they didn't bog down the pacing with extended flashbacks of Bill's origin--it was all so short and sweet. I'm assuming that's the vampire who is older than Eric.

Gotta say Jason's hallucination of Tara was pretty hilarious.

I give almost everything a chance, even if I have some prejudices against it. I watched this one, with a bit of curiosity and in the hopes of seeing Ryan Kwanten's junk.... neither have turned out well

Bill is ok. Having seen him in The Starter Wife mini-series, I thought he was ok in it. I think he's just ok in this as well.

Yes...for the most part, to all the above. Very little I disagree with.

I hope they get more into the back story as well as the bigger world of this place they've created. The books are not this slow.

Watching the episodes I say to myself several times "We get it". We get it...Jason loves sex. We get it...Sookie is "pure". We get it...Sam is a protector and wants Sookie. We get it...Tara loves Jason.

Eye candy shots of Jason each episode are great...but can we have a little story with it...or a purpose?

Sam's probably a werewolf...or that dog. Sookie made a reference to werewolves in the 1st episode (yes sort of jokingly but still...), he barks in his sleep, smells clothes, Sookie said his thoughts are different from everyone else's, that weird dog (that scene with Bill standing outside the house to watch over Sookie and then the dog came up and did the same...hmmm...). I think Sam might have killed Sookie's grandmother...just a theory...there's something off about him.
