    Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]

This week's episode was great. Jason took a full tube of V (vampire blood) when he only needed a couple of drops to make his dick hard. It got so hard he had to go in the bathroom at the police station and jerk-off. His screams, when he came, were heard all over the building. He went home and kept jerking off and coming but his dick would not go down. He got blisters on his hand. They did not show his dick...lol. Bill took Sookie to a Vampire bar. It got raided by the cops and they tried to flee. A cop caught them, but Bill used his vampire skills and took the cop's gun away. When they pulled away they showed the cop pissing himself...I love this show!

    Holy Hoo !

Tonight's episode ended with quite the shocker....

I can't believe that character was killed off.

    Kinda sucks, actually.

Plus, those scenes with the "V" being dropped on blotter paper and Jason wigging out are about the most obvious references to LSD I've ever seen...

    I'm friggin' addicted.

I think the show is great, and if you watched SFU you'd "get" Alan Ball's sense of twisted humor.

Agreed - my mouth was left wide open at the end of tonight's episode.

Oh, and Joshy, the acid reference? Totally. Especially when he was looking at the tree too

I liked when Jason said he had to have a dude drain his penis with no Anastasia. That was the biggest laugh of the night for me.

Definitely so with Epsiode 4; they spent way too much time with the bloated wiener. And I think maybe the dialog was off.... 5 made up for it in spades. I'm so glad they didn't bog down the pacing with extended flashbacks of Bill's origin--it was all so short and sweet. I'm assuming that's the vampire who is older than Eric.

Gotta say Jason's hallucination of Tara was pretty hilarious.

    Ooo !

Good point, I hadn't thought of that...

And, *who* is the actor that plays 'Eric' ? He looks familiar...

Anna Paquin is that bitch... hope she's more interesting here than she was in the X-Men movies...
Why is Anna Paquin "that bitch"? She's a wonderful actress, and I love her in True Blood. To each his own though.

I agree. I loved Grandma Stackhouse. I hope maybe she is not really dead, but there is a lot of blood on the floor! I just saw a movie on a plane in which the actress plays Matthew Broderick's mom. She is great!

Didn't read all the replies, so sorry for repeating if I do

I give almost everything a chance, even if I have some prejudices against it. I watched this one, with a bit of curiosity and in the hopes of seeing Ryan Kwanten's junk.... neither have turned out well

RK's butt is there, and it's very well liked - let's hope he gives a frontal

The show on the other hand, is very tiring.
Anna Paquin, god bless her, just isn't very good - She might have hit her peak in The Piano. I see that she wants to commit to the character, but she isn't connecting with it, and it's just awkward to watch.

The black friend - worst. Maybe to explain her crappiness they brought in her mother who tries to beat her... it didn't work, the damage was done, and I officially did not like this character.

Bill is ok. Having seen him in The Starter Wife mini-series, I thought he was ok in it. I think he's just ok in this as well.

The black, gay cook - worst. ever. The way he spits out lines... not good to watch. AT LEAST he created a character though, he is definitely giving a steady performance. I just don't like him either.

Everyone else is boring: the cops, the fellow waiters at Sam, Sam (who's hiding something), and grandma who met a fate on the last episode

This show needed bigger starts or better acting
Let's hope it picks up soon!
I'll still be watching, judging it, waiting for a penis

Yes...for the most part, to all the above. Very little I disagree with.

I hope they get more into the back story as well as the bigger world of this place they've created. The books are not this slow.

Watching the episodes I say to myself several times "We get it". We get it...Jason loves sex. We get it...Sookie is "pure". We get it...Sam is a protector and wants Sookie. We get it...Tara loves Jason.

Eye candy shots of Jason each episode are great...but can we have a little story with it...or a purpose?

Also...does anybody know is the actor that plays Tara really talks with that much of a southern drawl?

well he barks in the sleep.
    he sniffs bed cloth.
his thoughts are different than anybody else's (not silent like with the vampires, but different)
then there is this weird dog running around all the time, and apparently it somehow relays information to him. he immediately knew when they broke up, and the dog was there to watch it.

at first i thought he IS the dog, but a friend of mine said that both were on the screen together before.

by the way - why wasn't there a new episode this week? thanksgiving?

Show just got a little weird. Would never expected Vampire Bill to bite her.

Damn Ryan Kwaten contract must call for every episode to have nudity. Every single episode we have seen him naked...very nice!

Since Sookie was a virgin she should have bled when her hymen broke so Bill should have pulled out his dick and drank the blood that was coming from her pussy.

She was a virgin why did he shove his dick in Sookie so hard.

"I'll even show my weiner" That line was hot as hell.

I love when Lafayette goes badass. Jason is a bitch no matter how sexy his body is.

I like how they are dispelling the myths but i still need them to explain how a person becomes a vampire.

The woman bit Bill and he became a Vamp and When Bill was about to bite Sookie the first time she said, "No, don't i dont wanna become a vampire" and Bill said "you wont"

So they gots some splaining to do.

    "vampire american" lol

Why doesnt Sookie use makeup to cover the bite? Why doesnt any of the woman use make up to cover up the bite marks.

1st Question: I think it has something to do with with the fact that Bill drank the woman's blood after she bit him. I think they have to drink their biters blood after being bitten to become a vampire.

2nd Question: Does cover up work on puncture wounds? Make up would probably just sink in the holes. Then again it's just a TV show. We can't go crazy over every detail.

Yeah, that was one hell of an episode.

They threw so much new stuff at you at once, I loved it.

The show has gotten to the point that you can watch a dead man crawl out of the ground and fuck the girl and it's just like, 'yeah, just another moment on 'True Blood'.

Sure, another possum has to be drowned to kill off another demon, but hey !
If it means more hoecakes in the morning then it's fine by me.

This week Jason (Ryan Kwaten) has a very erotic scene where he is basking in the glow of V. His arms up over his head with biceps bulging got me hard as a rock. This dude is just soooo sexual

Just watched the first episode yesterday. Fucking loved it! Love vampire related stuff and this looks pretty damn good. Anna Paquin is amazing in this...I was afraid her acting skills went down the drain with the X-Men movies (she sucked!!) but thankfully they didn't! And yes, just to state the obvious, the brother AND her boss are insanely hot men!!! The Bill vampire is pretty attractive too but not my type.

lol...I bought vodka in Safeway yesterday and clerk called it "demon juice". He said, My momma poured all hers out and made "hoecakes". I am glad I watch the show! We are all going to be talking like those folks.

I finally watched the latest episode, and all I can say is I'm crushing on Rene.

I think I might be developing a thing for Cajun boys.
    Thanks for noticing me.

But Sookie drank Bill's blood after getting beat up, and people do V. So I guess that have to get bit, drain of their blood, and then feed from the vampire.

It kinda looks like Sookie will become a vampire next episode. Should be interesting.

Sam's probably a werewolf...or that dog. Sookie made a reference to werewolves in the 1st episode (yes sort of jokingly but still...), he barks in his sleep, smells clothes, Sookie said his thoughts are different from everyone else's, that weird dog (that scene with Bill standing outside the house to watch over Sookie and then the dog came up and did the same...hmmm...). I think Sam might have killed Sookie's grandmother...just a theory...there's something off about him.
