Did anyone else watch it ?
It's from the genius mind of Alan Ball. The man that brought us "American Beauty" and the glory that was "Six Feet Under"
It's such an odd, quirky, and wonderful show....
I dearly love it.

"Cryin' won't help ya
Prayin' won't do you no good..."
Just watched the trailer, actually looks pretty fun and it sounds pretty interesting, I'll wind up checking it out.
I'll have to wait till Showcase decides to air it.
I mean, a Vampire named Bill? What's not to love.
I just finished watching it. LOVED it! Some colorful characters and I like the dark humor and sexiness. Anna Paquin looks fantastic and there's some yummy male eye candy. I'll definitely be keeping up with this one.
I watched it, although am disappointed that they ended where they ended...Oh well, good reason to tune in next week I suppose.
I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, but I'm afraid my walk has become rather sillier recently...
You mean True Blood?
I tried to go see the trailer but it says it no longer exists. It's just as well...I don't get HBO so it's best I don't know what I'm missing!
I liked it. I wasn't blown away but I'll definitely watch next weeks episode. But I'm not a big Anna Paquin fan.
I was handed the first episode on a dvd in front of my apartment the other day havent watched it yet
I saw the pilot months ago and loved it - I just hope it's not yet another TV series that goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on...
So did anyone watch this last night? I thought it was a good show and the brother is insanely hot!
I need a little more action...
But it was the first episode soI can wait awhile...
Anywho, the brother, Ryan Kwanten... Gorgeous. But he needs his hair longer like when he was on Summerland.
Anna Paquin is that bitch... hope she's more interesting here than she was in the X-Men movies...
I saw some trailers for it while at a hotel over the weekend. BUUUUUUUUUUT.... I don't get HBO at home!
*sigh* Guess I'll have to stick with Buffy for awhile.

Do you know if it's on any other channels, it really looks interesting.
Honestly, for you N2, chances are there are gonna be vamps who miss the old days of slaying humans, and/or there are gonna be some humans(Catholic Church maybe) who launch a crusade to wipe out the vampires.
Rome was good, but no one watched it. I loved Cleopatra.
Seinfeld? Why don't you just take a sleeping pill? If you're going to watch T.V. at least try to be entertained.
Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing this show, although the whole vampire thing is just so played out by now. And to be honest this one doesn't exactly look unique.
This vampire thing as me ultimately craving for Buffy and Angel.
I thought it was a movie at first.
But I keep seeing previews for it.
It does look kinda good.
I don't get HBO though.
I thought it was interesting. I give it more of a pass because of the sexiness of Ryan Kwanten and it being from the creator of Six Feet Under.
I just watched it OnDemand....I enjoyed it...I think it's a bit cheesey....with the whole equating Vampires as minorities by using homosexual undertones...but I enjoyed it none the less...I think I kinda wanna read the books this is based off of...
I'm really looking forward to it but I don't have HBO so i'll wait for it on DVD.
"Six Feet Under" was sheer genius and "True Blood" is based on the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris which I have read 7 in the series so far.
Now I just have to wait for about a year to watch the program!!!![]()
i just watched it today and it's a very good show. i can't wait to see what direction it goes in/to.
Actually, Vampires and homosexual undertones, as well as homoerotic moments, are a favorite of numerous science fiction, fantasy, and horror writers
Honestly, I find it a bit melodramatic, but whatever. as long as we get to see the hotties an inch away from each other, looking like they're gonna fuck long and hard.
I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Ryan Kwanten got my attention, but the premise is a little odd. I kept waiting for someone to mention how vampires aren't allowed to get married or something. I'm not sure the writing is up to par with the political commentary it seems to be trying to make.
Mildly disappointed. But, I'm open to see what comes up next.....
hmm the vampire guy was hot. but apart from that i am not sure if it's any good. the girl already annoyed me - and the extra flamboyant stereotype gay guy as well. THAT they did a lot better in SFU
Check out my very own Body Hair Lovers and Photography Groups!
i watched again. can't wait till the next episode!
Just finished watching the second episode (I saw the first episode back on June 16th). It's quite good. That Jason guy is hot as is the vampire Bill
The token gay black guy is hawt
If it's a simple plot of hostilities towards the 'outcast', some people take their side, some don't and other Lost Boys type stuff I'll probably get bored with it fairly quickly.Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
The vampire dude (Bill) saves Sookie using his vampire powers etc. blah blah blah - he 'reinvigorates' her with his blood as she might die from her injuries and now they're connected in a special way. She brings him home to meet the grandma and Jason & co. lots of uncomfortable scenes ensue. It ends with her going to his house and she's surrounded by nasty vampires - will Bill save her?

The pre-air for episode 1 was leaked back in June and the pre-air for episode 2 was leaked a couple of days ago.

I wanted to see it...but I dont get HBO. Fuckkkkkkk.
I wish they would explain Sookie's mind reading
I caught the premier last night and i like it. I am not 100% hooked yet but i will tune in this week because i like Stookie and i wanna know her back story.
Bill kept asking her, "what are you?" and i was hoping she would address her mind reading but she kept it at waitress.
The gay guy is hilarious but the Tara is a bitch. She is too much. How she expects to ride Jasons dick with that attitude?
I didnt know that silver weakens Vampires. Thought it was garlic.

Sounds like an interesting show. I love Ryan Kwanten, have done since he was a child actor in Australia. He did a great photoshot for DNA Magazine a few years back in Australia. Sort of Angel theme. It was all over the internet news the other day he's basically naked most of the time in this show. Now that is something I'd like to see.

Why was this moved to hot topics?
Anyways a rerun of the pilot is on now.
Gay Vamp, kinda hotill fuck you, ill fuck you boy then i will eat you
With str8 men, all you need is time.
I watched the second episode and I liked it even more.I am definitely into it and will be continually watching it.
Why didnt Stookie shout out for Sam when she was getting beat up? Sam was so close.
Jason has so much stamina. He came 3 times with Muadette within an hour.
With str8 men, all you need is time.
It was interesting. Don't think this Ryan is that hot. i think they're trying to push way too hard that he's supposed to be this hot womanizer. The vampire is attractive at all. He looks like a zombie and isnt the best actor imo.
