I'm so pumped for the music video
I look 4ward to the video too! I just wonder if there were too many teasers? Teaser #10 was just teaser #1 from a different angle. IMO, at this rate, we'll have seen so much of the video 4 there to be any surprises come the 17th.
A survey from Orange County’s Equality Project asked 1,000 gay men all over Southern California who is the greatest Gay icon. Britney Spears won the poll with 31 percent of the vote. “Britney Spears is a genuine Gay icon, says Equality Project’s Joel Waddell. She is genuine in her affection for us and doesn’t need to exploit us as a marketing tool like some other current Madonna-like icon."
Speaking of Madonna, she came in second with 25 percent of the vote. “When Madonna puts out a new album, she will be on top again. Madonna is the greatest icon the Gay community has ever had,” says Mr. Waddell. He isn’t happy with the fact Lady Gaga came in third with 22 percent of the vote.
“Lady Gaga is a talentless scam artist. She is to the Gay community what Hitler was to Germany—completely destructive. He is a little bit more enthusiastic about Katy Perry, who earned 12 percent of the vote. Other names mentioned include Perez Hilton, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Cher.

Uhh, really? That is a bit over dramatic and sounds really biased against her to begin with. I can totally get why you don't see her as an icon, but damn that is just plain wrong. A person who got up on a stage and spoke to crowds of people about the wrongs of DADT makes her similar Hitler?“Lady Gaga is a talentless scam artist. She is to the Gay community what Hitler was to Germany
Gaga actually throws out labels left and right, which isn't necessarily good. Gaga will thank her "Gay fans" while Britney will just thank her "fans". Sometimes labels are good, sometimes they are not.
I never understood where people got the idea that Gaga just caters to the 'fem' crowd amongst crowds. But, I will take this discussion to another thread.
Poor Britney's just a puppet for the Jive Label. Her heart and soul are not in it now. I feel sorry for her fans! They're so dedicated. Look at how much of her time she gave them on the twitter Q&A, when the Q&A was the reward for her fans WW if they tweeted their little idle hearts out during the SuperBowl? "Let the question's rip!"...................."Gotta go now, ya'll, busy day!" SMH!
30 second sneak peak of the video! Haters shut up. Utterly epic
LOL Aight...I gotta break this fucker down into smaller quotes!...else I'll go cross-eyed trying to respond to everything in it! O.o LOL
I just found it strange that you felt the need to post (of all the new articles that are likely out there on Britney right now), an article on a survey from Orange County’s Equality Project? Orange County? And then with a Gaga/Hitler comparison conveniently in it? Coincidence?
Comparing Gaga to Hitler?! HITLER?! The man responsible for the murder of millions of innocent people is justifiable? That's the craziest thing I've ever heard! Unless what ya'll mean is, Hitler gave Germany a bad name, and Gaga gives the gay community a bad name? That would be arguable, though I would disagree and say it's just the insecure gay man afraid of being "loud and proud" or a Gaga hater just being a cunt!
The first few days after teaser #1 was premiered, there was allot of excitement from the Britney fan club. Now I read comment on youtube, from people with usernames like "BritneyFanForever" saying the dancing looks kinda boring. I know most of you are still very excited, but not as much as you were say 9 days ago. I would have started with the teasers on the 14th, and then premiere one each of the following days leading up to the 17th.
Christina fumble the lyrics to SSB in front of millions around the world, and a week later was opening the Grammys (where she fell on stage @ the end of their performance). You just have to pick yourself up and keep going. Why should Britney be any different. She should want to do anything to please her loyal fans.
I'm fucking obsessed with 'Express Yourself' and 'Born This way'! I have the Live BTW Grammy performance and Express Yourself on repeat on my iPod as I type! LOL
"Put your love tooo the test!" <----Love that part! Whooooo!
Ok this is what it's gonna be. Gaga is not Hilter. DUH. Britney does need to do promo. DUH. War is over between Nocturnal and me..for now Hopefully she will start soon. The video will hopefully be the kick off and I hope she does well. Time will tell...
Oh yeah Nocturnal...suck my dick..come on ya know you wanna

The 30 second clip looks amazing! Britney looks amazing and her outfit is totally fierce!!!The video will premiere tomorrow. There will be a live chat on MTV.com right after the premiere and fans can discuss the clip there.
Doing the chat where on MTV?
That preview is seriously so amazing!!!! I'm so pumped for tonight...I can't...
4 hours to go, guys!!!
I can't wait!....gonna be 4:55am here...
OMG! Same here, where do you live?
Grocery shopping now, but I swear if I'm late getting back, heads...or specifically 1 head, will fucking roll! LOL
Simply the music video of the motherfucking century!!!
Anyway, I...what the...what was that?! LOL! The asteroid opening got me so pumped!, and I was just waiting for the dubstep dance break!...She didn't move the way I thought she would. Her dancers were doing summersaults n' shit, while she just did a couple twirls and whipped her hair! The whole time I was just waiting for that OMG moment, and it didn't come. Bumbaclot, the fight scene was AMAZING!!!! She looked beautiful too! I'm just disappointed with the level of dancing. I thought I'd read she was in training for months to return to form?
Anywho, it's here now! I give it 3 out of 5 stars!
The first two verses the dancing was good. I was expecting a real dance break but I was completely happy with how they did it with the paint and the fight scene. Brian Friedman tweeted yesterday something about don't blame him and Britney for the dancing being edited so I think that there has to be more there but they added in all the other stuff. Overall I'm very happy with it and I think it's one of Britney's more artistic videos. She's fighting her past image and starting fresh...and I LOVE it.
I, personally, loved the video. I thought the dancing seemed to be more energetic than the Blackout/Circus videos/performances. But, as expected, it didn't quite live up to expectations. Hopefully, she'll do some great promo performances that highlight the dancing. The video seemed more focused on the effects and imagery than the dancing. But I'm not here to make excuses for Britney. That's just what I think.
The concept is amazing when you break it down. IMO it symbolizes her breakdown. Her oldself fighting with her newself...her public image fighting with her real persona. The one britney breaks the other britney's knee (hello Britney's numerous knee injuries). It has so many metaphors when you look through her career and her life and what's happened.
The video was amazing. The dancing was on point and the concept was really well done. I love the paint scene, the fight scene and the finale at the end! Best video I've seen in YEARS! I love how they payed homage to Oops! I Did It Again in the beginning!
Look how beautiful she looks! That's classic Britney right there:
I can't believe you girls made a thread just for me ! But anyway, all I have to say is an honest excuse for my dancing. I have to admit I do look like hesitating to think of my next move, but can you blame me? I had my two babies and I don't really remember if it was the druggies I did or just the too much sax but hm oh well, I'm just not into it anymore (the dancing).
So what else can I discuss about the vid... oh yes the fighting scene and I dare to say: 90% of my video was a bit too ridiculous lol Like com'n idk what was my producer thinking with that fighting scene!? It sure entertains and make the teens and fans go wow u lala but in reality is meaningless and irrelevant. Something you sure will forget in a few months and something most adults don't really care.
I don't know what's the company and my producer deal with Gaga. I'm not gonna even get Gaga into this because I don't want you girls to get the idea that I'm jealous of her, but I could make a few comparisons, for example. Her Alejandro video at least had a relevant thematic unlike my HIAM. But pfft stop the hatin already, jeez I did my best and it definitely tops... all my Circus/Blackout videos... anyway at the end of the day it was the record company idea to get me back in the game, they thought a few $$$ could be made by another come back so it was really like blah, do whatever you have to do and leave me alone.
i like it!
but honestly, quite disappointed with the dancing too..i was expecting..MORE! ENERGY! FIERCE!
LOVE the fight scene..epic!
**Do you think the reason why she' s not dancing the way before is bcuz of her 'knee injury'?
Think about it.. that was before BLACKOUT and after TOXIC..
"I'm a Billion Dollar Baby"
Yes I think her knee injury has a lot to do with it...
She injured her knee on the set of "Sometimes"
doing a twirl or something
then she injured it again in 04 at the Onyx Hotel Concert
soon after again while filming Outrageous music vid
She hasn't danced the same after that injury. I honestly think she's A) really scared she's going to hurt herself badly and never be able to dance again or B)is already hurt so badly that she can't dance as well again.
I think the first injury wasn't too serious since it was her first but then the second did her in.
