Not to mention the whole Taylor Swift thing, who's been called (rather callously, but admittedly funny) #1 "celebrity beard on-demand". She's been linked to (at minimum) Joe, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, all of whom have gay (or bi) rumors afloat. Mind you, if you're popular in Hollywood you inevitably get gay gossip (someone once quipped you know you'd made it on Hollywood when the sexuality speculation starts up), but I find Taylor floating from guy to guy as the go-to pretty blonde on their arms to be pretty amusing.

Now that I think about it, that is true.... Kind of funny too. I wouldn't be surprised if any of those guys came out as bi or gay, Taylor being a prime example.

I don't think he's still under contract with Disney, but the problem is that he and his brothers are all self-proclaimed Evangelical Christians. And while I've never heard of any of the brothers saying anything against homosexuality, the Evangelical Christians themselves are intensely anti-gay.

Joe, however, seems to be distancing himself from the wholesome image that was created for him by his PR team. You'll notice that his much-touted promise ring has gone entirely MIA, and he has been doing things that are a bit more risque, such as appearing during that Britney Spears concert where he was practically groped by her female AND male backup dancers.

I don't know if he really is gay or not - though I strongly suspect that he is - but definitely seems to be trying to grow up. If he is gay, will he ever come out of the closet? Maybe. But unless he's caught and forced out, it won't happen anytime soon. Not, at any rate, until his popularity really starts to dip and he needs a big PR stunt.

There's many reasons why he would opt for a studio instead of a bigger house. If he lives in West Hollywood, I'm sure a studio there costs more than a house in most places. Also... being a Jonai means he's pretty financially secure but I think it's smart not to expect that to last forever. Plus like most artists he is on the road during any tours, and when he's not on tour he is probably not home a lot. It doesn't make sense for someone his age and at this point in his career to have a huge house.

Based on all that... it seems like Joe is pretty smart! Hopefully that means he will be around for a while

lol I was thinking of that as well. When celebs do these things, you just know that there are plenty of questions that they are avoiding...

Joe performed at the Vegas Haze Nightclub.

It's a bit weird to see Joe performing in nightclubs (yes I know he's over 21, but still)...I guess he's been trying hard to shed the Disney image, and this is the "real" him. He seems to be more in his element playing in clubs. He performed on his birthday here. I actually like the few songs he's performed in this clip. Nice club vibe.
