Huh. This is actually the first thing I've seen that has convinced me that Joe is gay or at least bi. I mean I know it could and probably will be interpreted differently, but it just looks to me like he is blatantly checking out that guy's ass. Doesn' really matter though. He's a Disney product, an attractive young pop star and an Evangelical Christian. That's like the ultimate Closet Trifecta. He'll never willingly come out.

It's not a crime, but I have never once seen this done by straight guys. Hair, maybe, if I've just gotten a new haircut. But lips? Chest? Crotch? Ass? Nope. I don't know what straight guys you've been hanging out with, but the ones I know don't do that.

I don't think anyone with half a brain would call it "evidence." It could very well be nothing. Again, different people will interpret it different ways. To me though, it just looks to me a hell of a lot like he's checking out the guy's ass. He does it twice, actually, now that I re-watch it. Then there's the little smile he has after he does it. But like I said, it really doesn't matter. If Joe is gay, unless he gets caught with a guy, the chances of him coming out of the closet any time soon are slim to none.

It's quite the contrast because it's so out-of-character for Joe on stage, too - always the extroverted showman, anyone who's seen any Youtube audience-shot concert footage would see him (quite hotly, BTW) strutting, dancing with the horn section, shimmying up and down to his knees, and literally doing acrobatics/trampoline moves. He knows how to work a crowd. Maybe he just likes being the center of attention, and here, he was a mere prop in Britney's routine. Pink feather boa and all. Maybe it's good for him...humbling?

I wouldn't be surprised if someone at these PR firms, probably a low level intern, has to occasionally check out various forums, blogs, etc... and I'm sure the gay ones in particular. From what I hear, it's someone's job to check us out and see what is being said about their clients. It is NOT a coincidence that certain folks are banned at the various gay forums, not just JUB...and that various photos, vids, and even just plain discussions about stars (particularly those about their sexuality) show up and then just outright disappear like they didn't even exist. And it's usually the ones with chatter that doesn't seem to go away. I've seen it everywhere...here, ONTD, various blogs, and especially imdb. They want to try to not just control the visual stuff, but even what we say.
