I love readers who are not embarrassed by cumming as they read. We knew you would and we hoped you'd wear it like a badge of horniness!

    Re: I Thought I Knew - Book 1 and Book 2

HR, you are probably not expecting that I would comment after all this time.
I have to admit, I have avoided the story for years, but only because of its length.
The other day, I came across it (because of Marvin's comments bringing it up to the top of the forum)

I decided to binge read both books.

You are a truly gifted and talented storyteller.

I was literally exhausted after reading most of the chapters. The action and emotion packed into each installment captures the feelings that I had as a youth. The excitement of having that first love, the feelings of euphoria after a ball-draining, sweat soaked sheets session, and yes, even the uncertainty when first coming out, are all captured here.

You took a creative risk, telling a true story. It was successful.

To Billy, Justin, Jess, Tom, and all the others involved...Thank you! Sharing your story will help to give lots of kids in the closet their courage to be themselves.

To HR...thank you for taking this on.

I know that you have a third book about Jess. But right now, I don't think I am ready to read it. I am still processing the first two books.....

Ronboy -- When I saw that there was a post from you to "I Thought I Knew," my first reaction was that there was some sort of glitch in JUB's software. When I realized it was not a mistake, I was so pleased to see your kind comments. Thank you so much for the compliments, but more importantly for taking the time and effort to read it.

When I read, "I was literally exhausted after reading most of the chapters," it made me think back to writing it and the reactions so many guys had every week from reading the latest chapter. You certainly weren't the first person to power read through both books, but you are among a very select group. I know how exhausted I was after each chapter was finally posted.

I have been surprised time and again not only by the impact this story has had on young men like Marvin dealing with all the same issues, but by how much it has meant to older men too, many of them partnered to men and women and still struggling with their sexual identity, other like you enjoying remembering just how intense a time that transition period is no matter how old you are now.

Take all the time you need before launching yourself into "Jess' Story." You'll find it is a bit different than the other two, but of course you should be prepared for "the excitement of having that first love, the feelings of euphoria after a ball-draining, sweat soaked sheets session, and yes, even the uncertainty when first coming out."

Thanks again for sharing your reactions to ITIK.

And thanks, Marvin, for bringing one more member into the ITIK family.

    Stay happy. And stay hard!

Definitely got all hot last night stroking and shot a big load! I was thinking about ITIK and the circle jerk with Greg and Alex -- so much for them to learn -- and afterwards how Justin and Billly fucked and fucked till Billy finally came in Justin and fell asleep still inside him!

Now I'm on the verge of learning what Jess has been up to with his cousin!! It makes me so hard with anticipation!

Oh yes!! I read the rest of the story last night, including the super hot three way with Justin, Jess, and Billy! I got so hard and came like crazy!! It is all so very well written! Wonderful satisfying enlightening ending to the whole story! I guess I'm something of a ‘hedonist’ like Jess -- though I'd definitely like to have real experience as he did to know more still. Enjoying and exploring the thought of it in the meantime is part of the process. Thanks so much to all who shared their personal stories. Can't wait to begin another of HR’s novels!

MARVIN -- It certainly sounds like you have gotten a lot out of your reading of Book I of I Thought I Knew, not that I ever doubted you would after I read your first response to it. Which ever of the two remaining books you choose to read in this series, I am confident you will find even more richness and depth to the experience of reading when you delve into the guys' lives and loves and learnings once again. Please keep me and our other fans posted on your progress and all the pleasures you experience along the way!

    Stay happy. And stay Hard!

TJH - is it EVER too late to experience the boys?

Marvin, welcome to the HARD Readers club!

Sir Ron - all this time - of course you have some real life experiences of a similar nature to reflect back on while mine are of a more *traditional* relationship - not that I don't love my wife and didn't love the intensity of our early love life - but there is something to the other side of the equation... I'm glad you took the plunge and enjoyed it as much as I know a lot of readers have - I was fortunate enough to read it along with Chaz and others as our prodigious author posted the chapters - while we waited with breathless anticipation.

Has it really been that long - just about, I guess. The things that have change in the last decade...

And I know, if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest . . .

ThatJustHappened54321 -- Thanks so much for taking a few minutes to join JUB and let us know that you joined the ranks of those who devoted their time and interest to this project. I assume this means that you liked it as much as so many have before you. Don't worry about when you read. I just hope that you got something important to you from reading. And of course we hope it kept you and your cock happy along the way.

I trust you realize that there are two more books in the series, which can be read in any order that you prefer. You can find Book II The Further Adventures of Justin and Billy by clicking the title and Book III Jess' Story. I hope you'll continue reading and enjoying.

Of course, in My case, I'm looking back down that road from a far distance away from those years! But, from what I can remember, HR, you're putting into words what my over-stressed brain was feeling, but was unable to interpret into any sense of coherent thought, during those times!

I am very Grateful for the time, effort, and Talent, that you're putting into this "Adventure"! Please continue as you have been! I'm eagerly looking forward to More!!

hardreader - You are so right. Up to Chapter 24 -- Part II From Jess’ viewpoint, and cannot believe how moving the story is to this old codger. I am beside myself, lusting for the next edition. I hope it all ends in a wonderful orgy of glory with love all around, but life sometimes is different. Many thanks that this story didn't "disappear" into some digital emptiness.

I was really enjoying the slow hot action. Stroking my boyfriend’s rock hard, oozing, throbbing cock. Occasionally dabbing a finger in his pre-cum to taste that sweet sticky nectar.

But for Billy it was pretty awkward. After a minute or two, he raised his ass up and moved over so he was sitting beside me. Ted took that as a signal that he should go. But Billy quickly gestured for him to stay where he was. Ted responded by kicking off his jeans, leaving him naked. He sat back down. I couldn’t help but to look him up and down, admiring that beautiful swimmer’s body. His taut nipples. His magnificent cock pointing straight up. I couldn’t help but notice it had no arch to it at all. It was straight as an arrow pointing up above his navel. And below that cock, his powerful legs. His perfect feet and toes.

I edged my own jeans off, too, and then started to run my fingers over Billy’s chest and abs. My feather touch gave him goose bumps.

I gave Billy an inquiring look. He nodded in agreement. I’m not sure he knew what I was signaling, but he didn’t object when I patted the bed on my free side and said to Ted, “Please, join us?”

    Continued Tomorrow . . .

I probably don't need to invite you to "Please, join us" Thursday for Part II. But while you're waiting to see if Ted accepts the invitation to join Justin and Billy in bed, take a minute to write and let us know what you think about the project. About the lastest turn of events. Or just to tell us what you think is going to happen next. What do you think Ted will do? Or Justin? Or Billy? Or all three of them in bed together? Or not! We love to know what's going on in your minds and in your pants. Thanks for reading. Until tomorrow, stay happy and stay hard.
How can I express how much I appreciate the gift of this story and your talent in relating it!

    Re: I Thought I Knew

The feedback from the last chapter has been great, but it feels like the pressure is really on me now. I have been working on these last two chapters for weeks. Unfortunately I have lots and lots of notes from all three guys from a whole bunch of different interviews at different times. I've tried putting them together so many different ways to try to capture just how this whole thing goes when Jess comes back. And, off course, Jess does come back in tomorrow's chapter. You won't be disappointed!

The way I've got it set right now . . . and it could still change . . . it looks like the final chapter next week will be in six parts. Fair warning, some of them are quite short. I'm not sure how to pace it. Maybe one each day like with other multi-part chapters. Maybe not. And, remember, I'm still trying to get it just right, so everything could still change.
Whatever magic you work with those notes, it cums out awesome!! Wish I had discovered JUB back when you were writing this.

“So that’s why I needed to talk to you guys so bad. Will you do it?” I asked, not able once again to look either of them in the eye. “Can you help out a friend?”
Can I ever understand that plea!! I think I love Jess!

With that he got up and started to dress, pulling on his jeans and shirt over his body still covered in gooey cum. On his face. In his hair. Covering his chest and abs. Soaking through his clothes in blotchy wet spots.

We each tried several times to ask Jess what it was he knew, but each time he turned our questions away, saying simply, “Not now, please. I need some time to think.” And as he finally reached Justin’s door to go, he turned to us and said, “I’ll always remember this moment. And you. Both of you. Each of you. Forever. Thank you.” And he left.
Aw, man!! Cannot contain myself over that!! Powerful scene and awesome ending. I'm sure I love Jess. Too bad, too far, too different. Sigh!

    ‘tween The Twins -
My car! I suddenly remembered why I was outside in the first place. I turned, half expecting to see my car there in our driveway. Safe and sound. But no! It wasn’t there either. I headed inside and sat down on the sofa. Leaned my head back. Closed my eyes and let my mind go back to oblivion. It didn’t take long. I must have gone sound asleep sitting there.
Been there, done that ... not in the same way, butt ... Looks like I am going to lose more sleep over the next few months

    Good night! (morning?)

    Re: I Thought I Knew - Book 1 and Book 2

Like ronboy, I didn't dive into ITIK for all these years "because of its length." Gosh. What a silly reason to avoid anything!

I've only finished Book I (and all the comments and followup to it), but I wanted to chime in with my praise for the story and HR's skills in bringing it to us. Like everyone else, I appreciate how well the guys' emotional lives come through and involve us. And, yeah, the sex scenes are very . . . explosive.

I'm not sure anyone else (at least in what I've read so far) has commented on HR's technical prowess, though. It's pretty daunting to take on writing in multiple voices and from varying perspectives--but he does it so well that we all take it for granted. We shouldn't.

Also, given the vast quantity of material HR amassed while doing this, it's truly amazing that he keeps the story neatly focused and moving quickly. Not at all easy! There's an old piece of advice to writers: write long, edit short. But it's sooooo hard to do! Especially when, as in HR's case, you have tons of good stuff to choose from. And, no doubt, there were some really juicy and hot moments--or little side stories--that wanted so badly to be included. But HR wisely set those aside. Not to mention those favorite sentences that every writer falls in love with . . . until he realizes they just serve no purpose and readers won't miss them. So out they go.

Thanks, HR, for doing all of the hard crafting that readers often forget to thank writers for.

And one other thing: Has anyone else thought to thank HR and the guys for making all of this available to us for free? How can we possibly repay you? Virtual hugs and kisses will have to do.

On to Book II and then Book III.

    Ned

    Re: I Thought I Knew - Book 1 and Book 2

Friend1720 -- Many, maybe even most, readers find they don't get what they expected from ITIK. Real life tends to be that way. Hopefully they aren't disappointed. The snippet you referenced from "‘tween The Twins" was just a brief sample. I. hope you weren't too disappointed I never finished it. At least you got to enjoy this glimpse into the lives of the twins having fun. I also hope that the remainder of this trilogy, which is complete, brings you more than you ever could have expected it would.

-- ballcaphair -- I have been surprised how many guys have told me they were taking their "second dive" into ITIK. I hope you are not disappointed. And if you don't mind sharing, if you're not a "size queen," what kind of queen or king or even prince or princess might you be?

neditesjamals -- As you progress through Books II & III, I hope you will drop a message or two to let us know how your journey through ITIK is advancing. It has been the kind words from readers like you that have been the only thanks I need for the effort I put into this project. Don't forget, it is the guys I write about that really deserve a reward for sharing their lives. Working on this project was a unique opportunity for all of us. And I don't think anyone involved would ever say they didn't enjoy it a lot. So Thank You for your thanks.

DQ -- Thanks for jumping in to help direct traffic when I am away.
