BeardedWoof: I have 2 piercings in my scrotum, one larger one horizontally in the center, and one smaller one vertically behind the larger one. My left arm is sleeved in imagery from the anime Cowboy Bebop, my right arm is sleeved with an abstract pattern an old friend of mine designed. The piece around my collar is a tribal like design made by another old friend of mine. My left leg is just a simple blackwork pattern I drew. All the others are too small to see in the pics.

Now for the obligatory response to the haters:

My body mods don't make me more masculine at all. I'm masculine because of the way I carry myself and the way I act, and need no help from anything when it comes to that.

They might seem silly to you, but it's something that is a part of me and my life, for the last 15 years. You can think they're silly, but I can also think you're a closed minded person who can't see past appearances to know what a person is really about (thats what those few words and your derogatory tone say about you).

In my eyes, I'm adorning my body, not destroying it. It is my body, so I can do what I see fit. It doesn't damage me in any way (meaning it doesn't affect how my body functions at all). I know this not only because I have them, but I am also in the body modification industry. I have been performing safe and clean body modifications for the last 14 years. I am a board member for the Association of Professional Piercers and through that organization I have been sharing my knowledge of cross contamination, sterility, anatomy, and technique by teaching classes, writing articles, and taking part in outreach seminars. I can say without a doubt that my studio is cleaner than most hospitals and that I know more about cross contamination and sterility than most nurses and a lot of doctors.

Each tattoo marks a point in my life that was important, or something that is important to me. The piercings have taught me how to listen to my body and taught me patience through having to care for them.
