Am I the only one who likes cubs?

OK, in my book a cub is a young guy, say 18-29, who just happens to be hairy. Not a chub, but not scrawny either. And not necessarily really really hairy either.

But it doesn't seem like that's a very popular category. It seems like most guys either prefer twinks, or else guys over 40, or chubs, or guys who are super hairy.

It seems to me when I was in high school and college, there were always a couple of guys in the gym showers who just looked really good, with handsome young faces and those great young bodies, but with hair on their chests.

I'd share some pictures, but for some reason it looks like you can't in this forum.

I am a cub chub. In the bear community some would probably say I'm a cub, not a chub. I have the facial hair, the hairy ass, the hairy stomach.

If I remember correctly cubs have been discussed a lot in this section. Through videos, pictures and other things. It's just that people here at JUB are totally confused on the term "BEAR" "CUB" "CHUB" they have different definitions of what a man is categorized as.

I've seen plenty of threads about cubs, just need to search. It's just not all chub, bear talk that goes on with this section.

It's a popular category to me!!! In fact, sounds perfect! I'm not much into twinks or super hairy. Moderate hair is a real turn on!

and I read something a while back about "otters" ? Those are cubs that are under 180 or something like that -- more than a twink - but with some hair.

Do you mean cubs who are more muscular or more on the stocky side?

I prefer the stocky cubs, not so much the muscular ones. Just enough for a good cuddle. I prefer them around 20-27 too because that's closer to my age and I don't want somebody who's going to have a different libido level.

I dated a guy who was a self declared "cub" and it was a nice relationship and we're still friends.

I get told that I'd be a wolf because I'm thin and I get told that I'm dominant, but whatever.

I don't know if I would fit into this category, maybe someone can help. I'm 21, white, but naturally dark, almost 6'4'', and about 300. I' m built like a football lineman, meaning big and solid, with a little extra weight, not like really fat, but pudgy-ish I do have a bit of a belly, but again, not a gigantic one, chest hair, but not very hairy legs or pits, I get pretty scruffy when I don't shave. (face that is) Uh...brown hair and eyes. Any thoughts?

Not in my book. In my book, a cub should be heavy or stocky, hairy and young. If he's slim hairy and young he's an otter.

But I could be wrong. I wish we all used the same definitions. Maybe we should draft a gay constitution. Nations with only one queen have constitutions, why shouldn't we?

I think you got the definitions pretty right, that's what I think a cub is, I'm heavy body type, and I have hair on my belly, my lower back, and some on my chest, including hairy legs and a goatee....I suppose that makes me a cub.....when I turn 40 it will probably change and I'll be considered a bear.
