The police report was leaked. He got a text message from another woman, Rihanna got upset and Chris threatened to kill her, beat her up, ran away -- leaving the car at the scene -- and someone who heard her screams called the police. After that she was taken to the hospital. He turned himself in after a warrant was issued and he eventually PLEAD GUILTY, a restraining order was issued and he is on probation. What "way more" are you insinuating? There is absolutely NO justification for what he did to her.

You know, I used to think this til, y'know, all the actual evidence proved otherwise. When it first happened, people said the media was exaggerating then a shot of her face came out and the police affadavit came out and people shut up. When asked about the police report, not once did he say or hint otherwise, instead he tried to deflect it and act like he couldn't remember. If there was more to the story it would have been out best believe. The type of person he appears to be in interviews and on twitter, if there was more on Rihanna's side you can bet Chris would have BEEN trying to convince people of that.

People also tried to say she was beating on him too and that no-one had seen what his face looked after but then of course, his photo post-incident leaked last year and there was not one scratch.

It's just really disturbing that with all the cold hard facts and evidence presented in the story, people still are trying to find some way that he was not wrong or at least lift blame off of him. Especially when we've seen just how much of a short fuse he has since then, going apeshit and breaking windows over a simple question and the fact that he lacks self-control on twitter and can't control his anger there either. I mean, why is it still so hard to believe that, despite how hot he may be, that he is a violent/temper tandrum-throwing kid?

*Chris plead guilty to assaulting Rihanna
*Chris never implied or stated Rihanna hit him or put the life of him or any family members in danger
*Rihanna stated she did not hit him before he assaulted her (not that his assault would've been justified anyway)
*Chris apologized for what he did to Rihanna

What really kills me is when ppl decide to waste energy on a person they clearly don't like. What he did to Rihanna was horrible. It happened three years ago and he was sentenced by a judge to community service and 5 years of probation. I haven't seen or heard anyone else claim he hit them and he is serving his sentence with high remarks so I don't consider that moment in his life a representation of who Chris is as a person. Clearly, you do. The incident w/ Rihanna only means something to those who never liked Chris in the first place so now they are given a "legitimate" reason to constantly bring it up when they r HATING. However, I am not surprised. Same thing happened w/ MJ and the molester controversy. Ppl only build you up just to tear you down to suit their own needs and insecurities.

I didn't either. Until I saw his outrage on Good Morning America. You would think he learned from his mistakes and would want to redeem himself, and JUST when people were starting to jump back on board, he goes and does that to prove how his temper is. That was HIS choice. He himself, and only him had the power to control himself and didn't. I don't think placing blame on Robin isn't the issue either, she was doing what every other interviewer would do. He has to expect these kinds of questions for his actions. All of this could have been prevented if he had never hit Rihanna, but he did it. Not just once, but many times. And now he has to deal with the consequences, and that includes being asked about something he did. It'll never go away.

This is not a good comparison. Robert Downey Jr. can still deliver in his performances, while Whitney could not. Her drug problem not only affected her performances, but it also affected her voice, which was how she was known. Unfortunately, she was not able to redeem herself with a comeback album or tour.

Chris and Drake's bodyguards and entourage were fighting w/ each other. Chris and Drake didn't fight each other and according to most reports Drake's team instigated an argument between them that escalated when members of Drake's posse started throwing champagne bottles into the Chris' area in the club.

Secondly, as a longtime CB fan I do wish these "incidents" would stop occuring! Absolutely! I always felt Chris should follow this operation 1)stay out of nightclubs, 2) focus on singing/dancing 3) keep a low profile (get off twitter) 4) live a healthier lifestyle 5) gain more humilty. Essentially acting more like a Beyonce.

Beyonce is the perfect example of modern black celeb who does all those things and maintains a very high profile.
