I don't think he was much of an ass. Sure he was upset at himself but wasn't treating those around him in a bad way.

A-rod is 1 of my fav tennis players and all i can say is this, He better have already called Brad Gilbert to take him back right after that match!! This new coach of his is only taking him down. I still can't understand how A-rod could have fired one of the best coach around who was training him in the right way so he could win. Sure, he wasn't winning against Federer back then, but i atleast prefer seeing him lose to Federer instead of to unknowns.
