Everytime I try to post a pic from my computer, it says it's too large. How is that fixed?

You need to reduce the size of your pictures. PM me if you need help.

I've been trying to upload pictures through the Manage Attachments interface, but all images I've tried to upload just showed me a red '!' button. I'm sure they were within the prescribed dimensions and filesize, but even the basic uploader would not upload my files. What could be the problem? Thanks!

Try reducing the size and ensure that the pics are of the acceptable format.
