This from the state that brought us Governor Jessie Ventura.
But in all fairness, you must understand that Minnesota can get very cold. It can get mind-numbing cold. Obviously Ms. Bachman doesn't wear a hat when it gets cold and the reasoning cells in her brain became frostbitten and damaged beyond repair. OR .............. she is just one more example of the far-right-lunatic-fringe element which currently predominates a Republican Party that has become an embarrassment to all Americans.
Her statement that little children will try homosexuality:
Obviously, I can't speak for K thru 12 heterosexual males but if the K thru 12 heterosexual females are even remotely like Michelle Bachman .......... who the fuck can blame them!
Unfortunately those ideas expressed by Michelle are shared by too many voters. Let's hope enough voters, with any sense, will recognize her "hate" agenda and vote aganist those politicians who continue to expand their "prejudice and discrimination" agendas.
Thanks Snapcat for making us aware of Michelle's sad political agenda.
Yep, it's sad that we've already got Marilyn Musgrave, and even should the tag team of Angie Paccione (donate please, if you're not in the district, and make it *in addition* to voting for her if you are, natch...) and Eric Eidsness (gay conservatives in that district, vote for him if you can't vote Dem) take her out, there's still be the task of taking out this wingnut, as well...

I second that emotion!
"Thirty-one* states allow all qualified citizens to carry concealed weapons. In those states, homosexuals should embark on organized efforts to become comfortable with guns, learn to use them safely and carry them. They should set up Pink Pistols task forces, sponsor shooting courses and help homosexuals get licensed to carry. And they should do it in a way that gets as much publicity as possible. "
positively brain dead. and what little brain waves do appear on the local monitor are so twisted that no one can follow the so called flow! but, then again that's what the christian right does - twist logic and appeal to ignorance and fear-based individuals.
the first thing these politicians do is bring out the babies and children and raise them high up on banners and wave them if the faces of concerned parents who shriek when they hear such dribble. this woman is living in the dark ages when reason was a dream and fear ruled air waves.
I wonder if she really believes that? Yes, activist judges are targeting children by giving gay people equal rights. . .
What a cunt.
"Just by being out you're doing your part. It's like recycling. You're doing your part for the environment if you recycle; you're doing your part for the gay movement if you're out."
And, according to today's Minneapolis paper, she's 8 points behind her opponent, Patty Wetterling.
That was one of the most beautiful polls I read in recent history... I will be so proud of those Minnesotans in this district if they decide to do the right thing... now then, remind me why any gay person chooses to be a Republican, again...?

I was a Reagan Republican, years before I came out and realized there's room in the human body for both a brain AND a heart.
Why anyone would STAY a Republican, especially these days, is beyond me, however.
She expressed her love for you, assuming you are a homosexual, and the best you can return is that you "like her"? What ingratitude!
Assuming you are bisexual and not in the closet about it, do you dislike everyone who disagrees with your lifestyle? Being gay is just part of who I am.
I find it hilarious that the same people in this forum who complain about Michelle's hatred of gays can barely contain their hatred for conservatives/Republicans. Hatred is hatred, is it not?
Many politicians fight for things I am against i.e. redistribution of wealth, inheritance taxes, socialized medicine. I don't hate them, I just don't vote for them.

If this were in person I would've stopped you right there anyway to interject 'yes' and point out that the qualifying assumption that preceded the question proper was not necessary as it is irrelevant.

They shouldn't hate others but themselves for their side can only succeed when the other side slips on its own. There is a difference between hating what one chooses to be (conservative/Republican) and what one is (homosexual). That difference, of course, is not recognized by all (those with an agenda mainly).
Many politicians fight for things I am against i.e. redistribution of wealth, inheritance taxes, socialized medicine. I don't hate them, I just don't vote for them.
There is no wrong inherently with the redistribution of wealth; there is wrong in a society that would require government to do it---it is that society that is inherently flawed. Inheritance taxes affect such a small number of people and require that each generation actually put forth an effort to make it in this country; isn't that the American dream?
Standing against socialized medicine is basically saying "I hate poor people and they should all die from some asinine disease without proper preventative care or necessary treatment." Interesting, pre-emptive war that sends our nation's poor young to die for a false cause is a good thing, preventative care and treatment for those brave soldiers' families and friends and the many more in America that could benefit from a healthier, longer life is not. Between HMOs, fraudalent and/or frivolous lawsuits, insurance companies, the AMA and the like, pharmaceutical companies, CDC and government meddling there is no free market, no competition, no capitalism at all with regards to health care in this country; the resistance to socialized medicine is either that you believe otherwise, which goes to show what faith is really worth, or that you are a sadist in regards to the poor.
Of course, there could be another option---I'd love to hear why anyone is against affordable health care for all while remaining the status quo or some other way to fix health care in this country.

Well... hatred for blacks is the same as hatred of the KKK, is it not?
And those two types of 'hatred' are *exactly the same*.
Let me guess what's coming... another "Oh gosh, why do you have to go there with the 'rhetoric'? Why do you have to be so 'divisive'...?"
Yeah, another barrage of that. Instead of acknowledging the point, and just getting over it.
Let me make it easy for *all of us* to get past that, and move on...
Conservatives and Republicans *choose* their ideology. Blacks do not choose their skin color. Gay people do not choose their orientation.
No, hatred of gay people and hatred of conservatives and Republicans is *NOT* the same thing.
And if so, that's like saying going out to shoot someone -- murder -- is the same as someone who won't stop until you're dead, and thus you shoot that person -- self-defense. If 'hatred is hatred', then murdering someone unsolicited and killing someone in self-defense, because they would kill you unless you stop them -- is also the same thing.
Please... tell us another one...
If I *hate* Michelle Bachmann, it's because she would probably see me sent to a concentration camp if she could have her way. Even if elected, it probably would be a long time before she could get her way. But that doesn't mean that she ought to be elected. I'm really hoping that the voters in the sixth congressional district of Minnesota finally see the truth about Michelle Bachmann, and *deny* her the opportunity to go to Washington, even if it takes Patty Wetterling's near two decades of child advocacy in the wake of the Foley scandal to get more than 50% of them to see it...
BTW... ever heard of Eva Young? I doubt it... but she happens to be a lesbian Republican that has made it her mission to defeat Michelle Bachmann. I don't *hate* Eva Young (and never have), but I certainly will hold her accountable for her decision to stay in a party that has assaulted her kind. If she succeeds, I might give her a word of praise or two... but she has always been a critic of Patty Wetterling almost as much as she has been of Bachmann... so if I'm not too fond of a right-of-center Republican, such as herself... that's why. I'm not 'hating' her, so much as I'm responding to the foolishness of some of her actions. Get it?
So please shove that monkeywrench into your 'hatred is hatred' hypothesis... thanks.

Makes you wonder if he is not only a card-carrying member of the ACLU but of the NRA too.
The Dump Michelle Bachmann Blog, run by a Log Cabin Republican (and MN's most prominent LCR, at that), for those that are interested enough to read it...
