And don't think for one minute that the Democrat's are "pure as the driven snow" God-fearing, law-abiding family men who's farts don't stink.

    Mud flies both ways!

There is enough graft and corruption in both political parties to keep the bloggers busy pointing fingers until all life on this planet ceases.

I believe that's what that post was about. In fact, this post was a rebuttal to it.

In fact, maybe what I'll do is... post something like you just posted on that thread... but we'll see.

Thanks for making me waste my 500th post explaining that to you... ::: sigh ::: At least I'm a 'Sex God' now... ::: sighs again... :::

Re: Foley, and the Republicans' past sex scandals

omg, the "fact"? At any rate, going to Wiki, which is a far greater authority on fact than the original poster:
In 2002, Margie Schoedinger of Missouri City, Texas, a writer of Christian books, filed a pro se lawsuit against George W. Bush alleging that Bush had raped her in October 2000. The complaint also claims that she had been harassed, that she had been drugged and sexually assaulted numerous times by Bush and two other men purporting to be FBI agents, that her bank account had been interfered with, and that she had been threatened and beaten. There was no substantiating evidence for any of her claims. The suit also claimed Bush raped her husband, Christopher. Christopher allegedly served a year in prison after pleading "no contest" to assault charges against his wife. He later filed for divorce.

Many believed Schoedinger suffered from mental disorders. Among American newspapers, Schoedinger's ordeal was covered only by the local Fort Bend Star, whose editor is said to have off-handedly opined, "I had heard she was a nut case."

Margie Schoedinger died of a gunshot wound to the head in 2003, nine months after filing the suit. The Harris County Medical Examiner's office has ruled the death a suicide. It should be noted that Margie Schoedinger's petition to the court included a statement that the Defendant (George W. Bush) considered either murdering her or harassing her to the point of a suicide.
Facts require proof, proof requires evidence, of which there was none. This is just an accusation.

The Fort Bend Star article regarding the woman's death can be found here, needing a better editor: http://www.fortbendstar.com/Archives...und%20dead.htm

Homoaffectional, NOT that I would discriminate but just to get your point of view, are you mentally handicapped?

Why is pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of the "Family Values" party somehow symptomatic of mental illness?

Nope but when a thread makes you mad so you go running off to post your own thread and then linking to the other thread instead of writing opinions on your new thread.

It all seems rather a waste of time really.

But I expect nothing less from the lefties, that jackass (or do you prefer donkey) is slow going.

Anything that makes the hypocrisy and the moral depravity that the gay KKK (the righties) exhibit clear-as-day visible, while accusing the other side of said hypocrisy and moral depravity, would of course, seem like a 'waste of time' to such as you.

MADISON, Wis. - In this Packers crazy state, where being a Cheesehead is a thing of pride, the normally staid race for secretary of state is being spiced up thanks to one candidate's tell-all book detailing her trysts with Green Bay football legends.

Sixty-five-year-old Sandy Sullivan, a Republican from Oregon, Wis., self-published the loose collection of her memories of an affair with Packers great Paul Hornung - and even a flirtatious moment with President Richard Nixon - in a 2004 book "Green Bay Love Stories and Other Affairs."

Her opponent, a 28-year incumbent with ties to a legendary Wisconsin politician, bemoans the attention her book gets on the campaign trail. Meanwhile, the executive director of the state Republican Party downplayed any concerns that the book could hurt her campaign.

"Everyone has a past out there," said state GOP executive director Rick Wiley.

Sullivan isn't hiding from her past. If anything, she's reveling in it.

Her campaign Web site prominently mentions the book and features a picture of her standing next to legendary former Packers quarterback Bart Starr, who is quoted as saying Sullivan is reliable and remarkable.

For those looking for more standard campaign fare, her site has an endorsement from former GOP governors Tommy Thompson and Lee Dreyfus.

Sullivan is more than ready to tackle anyone who is offended by the notion that a Packers groupie wants to run for state office.

"It's a life story," she said of her book, with 7,000 copies sold. "It tells a little bit about my youth, which was 50 years ago. If anybody has any problems with it, they ought to look in their own closet."

Sullivan, who's never held elected office, faces an opponent who has been secretary of state for 28 years and boasts one of the most recognizable names in Wisconsin political history.

Doug La Follette, a distant cousin of "Fighting" Bob La Follette, was first elected secretary of state in 1974. Bob La Follette, the former Wisconsin governor and U.S. senator, was a symbol of the progressive movement.

La Follette, 66, said he hadn't seen the book, but people have talked about it on the campaign trail.

"It's sort of amusing, quite honestly," La Follette said. "She has a right to her life and if she wants to put it in a book, it's OK."

La Follette lamented that the book was being talked about more than other issues - such as how he's performed in office.

The GOP's Wiley, who said he has the book but has not read it, described Sullivan as a breath of fresh air who would shake things up if elected.

In Wisconsin, the secretary of state is primarily charged with records management. The job of running elections has been ferreted out over the years to other entities.

No polls have been made public on the secretary of state's race to get a sense of whether Sullivan is even within striking distance of La Follette with five weeks to go until Election Day. In the 2002 election, La Follette won with 57 percent of the vote in a three-person race.

In her book, she details how she partied, and had romantic flings, with Packers legends during the team's glory years in the 1960s.

Sullivan was 19 in 1961 when she took a job with the Packers selling tickets. A few weeks later she met Hornung at a Milwaukee restaurant.

A Heisman Trophy winner, Hornung was also two-time NFL MVP. A running back for the Packers, his popularity among fans in the 1960s rivals that of Brett Favre in the present day.

"Here he was, in the flesh! Oh! My God! He was soooo CUTE! ... He immediately asked me out and I immediately accepted," Sullivan wrote.

She quickly learned "there are two things football players think about all the time ... FOOTBALL AND SEX ... and seldom in that order."

Hornung didn't return numerous messages left over several days from The Associated Press. The book, however, includes a forward with what appears to be his signature. He acknowledges meeting Sullivan in 1961, when he was 24 and both of them were "just kids."

"She was a carefree, fun-loving girl who fit right in with me and the rest of the 'Pack,"' the forward says.

Hornung also wrote a tell-all book, "Golden Boy," released in 2004, which details his own flamboyant lifestyle. Hornung had a reputation as a playboy, with girlfriends scattered across the country and ambitions of making it big in Hollywood.

Sullivan describes in her book one evening when Hornung sent his friend and Packers linebacker Dan Currie to pick Sullivan up.

"SIGH! One would have to be in a coma not to want him," Sullivan wrote of Currie.

Once Nixon came to Green Bay for a ceremony to honor Starr, Sullivan wrote. She and Currie attended, with Sullivan sporting a miniskirt.

When Nixon began to speak, she started swinging her legs and smiling at him. He returned the smile. Later he shook her hand, leaned over into her and softly said, "Hello there ... so you must be the CHERRY of the evening" before one of his bodyguards moved him along.

No one was sure what Nixon meant, Sullivan wrote, although she speculates he might have confused her with Starr's wife, Cherry.

"If I could do it again ... would I do it differently?" Sullivan wrote. "I doubt it. Would I still be crazy about football players? Probably! Green Bay Packers? Yes, of course! I love them."

Yeah, at first I thought it was an acronym -- maybe "bigots on ice" or "beginnings of insanity."

What I don't comprehend is the cut-off age for that term, "boi." I mean, I confess that I believe no one over twenty-one should ever, ever wear a baseball cap, or a hoodie; eighteen seems a reasonable end date for "boi." So, what gives with the AARP set using that unfortunate term? Delayed adulthood issues, perhaps, or self-foolery?

i'm 27 and feel guilty when i wear a hoodie. "boi" is just wrong...i'd rather vote republican than use that term...and i'd rather die than vote republican.

perhaps he's actually 12 yrs. old...that would certainly explain his political reasoning. but if he is collecting social security and using that term, well, perhaps we should call dateline.

Hey...I drive a Mazda 3, as well ('06 GT 5-speed sedan; Copper Red Mica), and I'm about as far from "boi" as you can get.

Maybe he'll explain it to us.

Good luck! I'm still waiting for hty2 to explain why they don't have a prep. course on grammar and spelling at the propaganda schools he attends... maybe because they cut all the funding for the teachers???

Come to think of it, mazda 'BOI' seems to have that same problem, as well...
