I was just wondering if being left handed has a direct correlation with being gay. I'm not saying all left handed are gay but I just notice that a lot of gays are left-handed like myself.

Me thinks this topic has come up before. Anyway, I'm right handed and gay. My sister is left handed and straight. I think it has more to do with where you put the hand, than which hand you use. If you like wrapping your hand around another guy's throbbing cock, you just might be gay.

I personally do not believe that being left handed has any meaning at all as to your sexual orientation .
I've read most of the studies out there and never saw that statement made .. IF anyone does know a study that says left handers are more likely to be Gay than a right hander ; PLEASE let me know ..I'd very much like to read and download it ...

I think this was in a poll a while back and it turned out to be pretty 50/50 thus making it a FACT that nothing has anything to do with anything, though i am a backwards lefty too. On another note, did any young left-handers start off writing words backwards aswell? I remember at primary school after i'd made a picture i'd write "leahcim" on it, mind you i've had a few knocks to my head.

I don't think it has anything to do with it. Same as the studies that at first said those people with ear creases have a greater chance of having heart disease, then was later found not to be true. And I am also right handed but do a lot of things as a lefty, so I guess it would mean I too am a Bisexual, if this was correct.

If there was a "left handed question" thread prior to this one I've created, I apologize to the mods and admins. I've seen a lot of my friends who are gay like me and are left handed. I just thought that someone in the medical field who is a member of JUB can better explain and elaborate further if indeed there is a direct correlation to this, shall we say, "phenomenon".

I mean most of the thread replier said they are right handed but also uses their left hand. Of course, you could be ambidextrous but again, it just adds another layer to the question.

Most all gay people I have ever known, hell, most all people I have ever known gay or straight, were right handed.

I know very few left handed people, gay or otherwise.

I thought I was the only one who did that. I could write with my right hand in one direction and then write the exact same thing in the other direction with my left hand. They were mirror images of each other.
To answer the question: left handed and gay. I chose to be left handed. I was ambidextrous as a child. My teachers tried to force me to write with my right hand, so I chose to write with my left just to be contrary.

Right handed here. It seems like a pretty even split on this board (so maybe the left hand = more gay thing is true, since according to Wiki, only 8-15% of the population is left handed).
