I love Jessica always have, I'm a huge fan of hers, it just completely sucks because it's not set to be released here in the UK until January 2007

I've heard the album already and I love it, she actually seems to be using her great voice again rather than the breathy vocals we heard a lot of on "In this Skin", this albums vocally definatly up there with "Sweet Kisses" and "Irresistible" albums

I love "If You Were Mine", "I don't wanna care", "Swing With me" "Let Him Fly" and her reworking of "Spin Me Round", the only songs I'm not so keen on are "walking around in circles" and "between you and i". I really like the new mix of "Fired Up" and the new single "i belong to me" is great too - well done Jess!

I can't wait to buy the CD when it's out over here - hopefully we'll finally have proper promotion and more than one/two singles from it!

She may have bigger boobs then Ashlee..but Ashlee makes way better music..but honestly this might be her best to date which isn't saying much! Altho I'm loving the track Fired Up..hot to death..and probely her next single..at least it should be..she sorta sounds like Paris!!!

Yep it's a cover of one of Jessica's favourite Patty Griffin songs

Last Christmas season, while she was going through "a really tough time," Jessica Simpson introduced her sister Ashlee to one of her favorite songs, Patty Griffin's "Let Him Fly." "We laid there listening to the song and just cried and cried like babies", Jessica recalled. "In a lot of ways, my sister really gave me the strength to pull through this really hard time. And it was just laying there and being with her that got me through it. I knew everything would be OK. The song is about how sometimes you just have to know when to let something go. And that was that moment. And I had to sing it."


Simpson, who had just filed for divorce, went on to record her own rendition of the song, which closes out her fifth album, A Public Affair, due August 29. And unlike the title track — the LP's first single — there's no question "Let Him Fly" is a statement about her failed marriage to Nick Lachey.

I hope this album does really well , she is very talented and her songs are amazing , although i think she should have stuck with the other album cover reather then the one she will be using that is my only complaint lol

I'm guessing it'll debut in the top five, close to No. 1 but not quite. Probably spend a week or two more in the top ten and be off the top 200 chart completely by Christmas time.
