Hey everyone, I just got back from my 7 day, 560 mile bike ride across New York State. They said it would be hilly, but damn, those felt more like Moutains to me. Anyever, thank you to everyone who donated to me, All together the other riders and me raised over $300,000 during the 7 day event. And I'm all ready signed up to do it again next year, yes, I must be crazy. Next years ride will be expanded to benifit US-wide non-profit AIDS vaccine research programs. Since so many people from out of state have been donating it's only fair that everyone benifits.
So, how did my ride go, lets see here, snoring in stereo, lots of blisters, bad sun burn, a stand off with an old lady and a cow, a 3 mile long 12% grade hill, 650 more endless hills, and more cats than I ever seen in one room before in my life. For a full day to day run down of everything that happened to me with pictures, please visit http://www.aidsridenewyork.org
Again, thank you to everyone who showed me support and to those who donated. JUB members accounted for about 35% of the money I raised, I could not have done it without you...
