Calm down, Fenway Freddy, you survived one Boston massacre this month, you'll face another in the playoffs. That should toughen you up for yet another Angry, Resentful, Bitter and World Championless New England winter. Kinda long, aren't they??? I wouldn't know, living in New York.
As to so-called "controlling" terror, well, we don't control the weather, either, nor can we control much of anything, really, despite the nanny government of Coward Bush. What we CAN do is harden systems and targets and prepare mitigation strategies -- you know, like Bush DIDN'T do with Katrina?
I have never understood the willingness of the right to gladly, and quickly, surrender to fear -- it's really quite telling, it really is astounding how they just throw in the towel! One little bottle of water on a 747 and they want to throw their legs over al-Queda's shoulders and beg for mercy, giving up OUR libertés civiles as quickly as possible.
FORTUNATELY for the right, the left thinks differently, thinks smarter -- yes, tough enough to bail out even our simpering sisters on the scared-silly sidelines on The Global War on, Ah, Global War on, on, ah... help me out here, big guy, whom are we so-called "fighting?"

The left has its own problems, but you sure pegged the typical "True-Blue American" conservative... who would have been a Loyalist in the American Revolution.

"Thirty-one* states allow all qualified citizens to carry concealed weapons. In those states, homosexuals should embark on organized efforts to become comfortable with guns, learn to use them safely and carry them. They should set up Pink Pistols task forces, sponsor shooting courses and help homosexuals get licensed to carry. And they should do it in a way that gets as much publicity as possible. "
