Dmitry is definitely the hottest guy on the show, followed closely by Travis. Benji and Donyelle, however, are my favourite couple, and they are the ones I look forward to seeing each week, and I think they should make it as the final couple.

Also, on a different note, I didn't watch this show last season, so I don't know how the rules work for finding the winner... Do they just keep voting off a guy and a girl until they are left with one man and one woman at the end, or is there a point where they stop having partners, and just dance on their own? Does the audience ultimately get to decide the winner, or do the judges pick? Thanks for the help

I think the dancing is more interesting this season, with more variety...although there seemed to be more interesting personalities on the show last season.

Also, last season, I just knew it would probably be Nick winning the whole thing right after his audition. This season, I have no idea. Right now I'd say Allison deserves it so far, wish it was Travis, but I don't know what the audience will vote...(well, I don't think Travis, because some people claim he has some Blake-like cocky attitude and he's not as good a dancer as Blake). Otherwise maybe Benji, but not my favourite...

I'm really glad they're going to make them all do solos...wish they had been doing that all along. Most often, the best dancers you really want to see dance a solo are safe, while the ones you get to see struggle through it...

I didn't get to see much of Travis' from his audition...

I'm curious as to what Benji does for a solo...in the Vegas week, he was partnered even when "dancing for his life". I really liked his mini-solo at the beginning of this week's show for some reason...

ivan and allison were awesome last night. Their routine was hot.

I don't think it's a good idea to make them all do solos next week instead of with partners. Most of the dancers left are contemporary dancers. Then there's 3 ballroom dancers who's used to working partners, 3 hip-hop dancers, and 1 ballet guy. That'll give a huge disadvantage to the ballroom dancers. And they can't do solos for 1:30. That'll just get boring.

I like how it was last year. I thought the routines and the dancers were a lot better last year. I think they should do what they did last year and just wait for the last 4 dancers(2 guys and 2 girls) and make them dance with each other. Even the guys danced together and so did the girls. Then they had a dance off at the end. They all had to freestyle.

Well I'm not sure if they're going to be dancing only solos...if they are going to switch to doing only solos, then as an ex-ballroom dancer, I feel sorry for the ballroom dancers...and Benji. The short solos they have to do are fairly decent for a latin solo, often there are times when you're dancing with a partner and dance separately for that nearly that long....but any longer in a single dance is fairly hard (I once had to do that for the 1:30 minutes...it was torture trying to come up with something...but they also can wander a bit off into other styles and not dance strictly what they would with a partner, much like the ballroom choreography they have sometimes on this show).

I'm finding the choreography and variety in styles to be better this season though...the dancers are also more versatile and well-rounded...also picking up a lot more of the ballroom technique.

Well, we found out tonight that next week they are switching up all the partners through some kind of randomization. I think it will be interesting seeing how these guys deal with new partners (except Dmitri, who will be on his third woman). I really like Benji and Donyelle and I will definitely miss seeing them dance together!! However, it will still be very entertaining. I think it's neat that they are doing two partner dances each, as well as a solo! That'll be cool! I'm glad Dmitri didn't get eliminated tonight! Oh yeah, I think it would be neat if the partnerships were truly randomized - in that we could get guy/guy couples, or girl/girl couples, but that won't happen... Stupid America's "delicate sensibilities" lol

For a second I was afraid of what his near-crying was going to do...because the gay guys always have to bring the drama, and sometimes it works against them (like in the case of Blake last season). But thankfully, after reading the SYTYCD boards, I see there's still enough that are saying "he wasn't faking it" and "he's so adorable".

Then I was partly afraid he was going to say "and this is the first time my boyfriend is here too"...it would just change 50% of his voters' minds (because half of them are probably girls who are in love with him and praying he's not gay).

And as hot as Dmitri is, I wish he would do ONE solo with his shirt on and buttonned up. It's too distracting...

Then again I go crazy for boyish guys who dance lyrical barefoot in shorts...so Travis is equally distracting for that reason...

I think Travis is the most versatile...but I don't think that matters all that much...this is like the only time he's going to have to do a waltz.

More importantly, he's a great dancer in what he usually does. I liked Blake from last season a bit more, but Travis is almost as good. And he has a better chance at winning...though Benji seems to have a large fan base. And Mia Michaels already loves Travis so dancing in Celine's show (choreographed by Michaels) will be perfect. Benji isn't suited for that part of the prize at all really.
