Dead pornstars
Hey guys,
as I love vintage porn, I wonder how many of those hot porn stars of the 80s and 70s are dead, and if not, what are they doing today?
Have some clues?

Re: Dead pornstars
Porn stars seems to (usually) have such short careers. Even a lot of porn stars from the 90s have moved on, doing other things now.

Re: Dead pornstars
A lot of call girls, when they get long in the tooth (and a little flabby in the 'jynie') get into real estate.
I wonder what most former male porn stars, typically or statistically, "transition into" upon leaving the biz?
I don't know how one could go from getting one's cock sucked by 2000 men to waiting tables (that would be a come down).
But how could they possibly all become "private entrepreneurs" when so much entrepreneuring goes nowhere for most anyway?
And they can't all become club owners.
I wonder what most get into post-porno? And not even just into (since that's easy enough), but succeed at?

I can only tell you about two past porn stars - one is a hairdresser, and the other is an English teacher in Brazil. Both are 90s era porn stars.

Sam Crockett returned to South Carolina where he worked as a registered physical rehabilitation nurse for several years. He also has a long term partner there. About 8 months ago he relocated to New Hampshire supposedly looking for something better but found out that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence and he returned home to SC. He still looks great at 45 and the body is as tight as ever.
Rex Chandler is now married and in the military and recently returned from a tour in Iraq. He's studying to become California Park Ranger. Apparently he's not concerned about using his real name (Paul Fow) because you can find out everything about him by searching for that name or his porn name. He is supposedly one of the few really true gay for pay porn stars.

Here's a somewhat recent picture of him from some bike team website.

Re: Dead pornstars
The long and the short of it ( no pun intended ) the porn industry has caused so much havoc on those who participated relentlessly and on many viewers who became or are becoming porn adicts. It is, let's face it, not a glamorous world by any stretch of the imagination. Looking at that list was positively chilling. You would think it would be a wake-up call to many, especially to those who fuck bareback and/or taking full loads of come in their mouth, things strictly taboo.

Re: Dead pornstars
JEff Stryker is not dead, he's actually very much alive and still in the business, although he's not making movies.
Many of them go on to many diferent careers.
Many will walk away completely and some will still make public appearances and some will deny they were ever in the industry.

Re: Dead pornstars
I know of two ex-pornstars living in South Florida. One designs website interfaces and the other is a nurse practitioner. I also know of one 90's pornstar who graduated medical school and last I heard is working in the midwest.
Just because someone does porn, doesn't mean they are stupid or incapable of doing anything else.

It seems sad to me that a lot of pornstars lives were very troubled and end in tragic circumstances. Just a thought, not a judgment.

Does anyone say anything nice about others anymore? Jesus what mean spirited comments above.
Many go onto other successful things and others don't. Depends on your mindset before you got into porn.
Same as a teen who works at McDonalds, some go on to college and others don't.

Re: Dead pornstars
Please sir, I have a small request: Will you please remove the photos and blog about my former terrible mistake in life, (I was 22). It has been an uphill battle to get most of the material off the Internet. I am 43 years old now, and this still continues to haunt me. I believe I have paid enough. The military photo was reproduced without permission, this was a personal photo. Thank you for you time and consideration.

Re: Dead pornstars
Well here's a thought on that from one former porn... never became a big sensation however because I wanted it that way.
One enter in porn for many reasons, but quite often money is the most attractive reason, I was 19 years old when I first entered the industry (briefly that is), the only problem with that is that some do enter the business with nothing else in mind than making money. Making money brings lavish lifestyle, lavish lifestyle often bring very uncommon behaviors. They get dragged into the EASY LIFE and get trapped in the porn industry. Sometimes some performers will start having some self-esteem issue that will often lead them to start hating what they're doing but doesn't know how to get off the industry knowing very well that they are now tagged forever of being a whore.
Being in porn is a JOB, an unusual job perhaps because it depict two individuals or many people at once having sex together. But it's not more different than the mainstream actors playing a role on a show, if some of you remember Dynasty; Joan Collins was still perceived has a super bitch even outside her role, while in fact she was a very kind person. Flamboyant yes, but still kind.
I personally didn't had any problem disconnecting from the porn business, I never did drug or over drank on a set, always wanted to keep my head clean, this way when I decided to quit, it's because I knew that's what I wanted, not because I became too old, since I did three years in the industry. I used the money to get myself an education and people today are not recalling me doing anything of that sort since I've made sure not to ever figure on DA LIST and that was well before Internet was flown with porn.
So if you love porn and want to work in the business, just keeps your head straight and if you know yourself to be very sensitive at what people may think of you (then don't ever get in that industry, because you will be judged, you will be tagged and there's so many insult one person can take), just remember it's the secret dream of many to be at least once in a porn movie. And if you are in the business and feel that it's your time to go... darn it just leave... I know it's not easy if that's the only things you've been doing so far, but I know a lot of those figuring on the death list that should have go a long time ago when they saw the bad effect their career started on them.
Cheers all!

I have a video clip of Jeff Stryker on the show Pornucopia. I will post it later.
Jeff said he couldn't perform during his first movie. They used a stunt dick.
He wanted to do straight movies but it didn't pay enough. He was paid $50,000 for a movie.
