yes. we werent together too long (at all) but i felt like it just wasnt working out... this is the first time i really had to break it off with someone, and it SUCKED
i feel like SUCH A DICK. i tried to be reasonable, be nice and caring when breaking it to him and he just seemed hurt :/

Breaking up with someone, if you know they are still into you, is hard. But if you didn't feel it was working then you had to do it, it's better to break it off now instead of a few months down the line when the person really has major feelings for you.
Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, hookup and breakup is part of life's journey. Get some sleep. Hope you'll get a better perspective tomorrow.

^ exactly. i view it as a learning experience. basically, from this, i think ive learned more about what i want currently, what im looking for with a guy. i am most definitely not one to take things fast... i want everything nice and slow. why label everything so damn quickly??
so, he texted me and said he was sorry for reacting the way he did. apparently, which i had figured, he unfriended me on facebook lol. he wants to be friends on there again.
im also glad to see he sees eye to eye with me now and sees that we did rush into this relationship.

As has already been said, but just to reiterate - Next time, don't rush into it. Take the time to feel things out and make sure it's what both of you want.
Honestly can say, a couple of weeks is not going to be enough time to make such a decision to commit. Learned that the hard way myself.
But it's good that you still have an open line of communication and that you're willing to be friends. THAT is very important and will help you both get through the difficulties of calling it quits so suddenly.

yea i totally get it. i thought we were rushing from the beginning really but since im still fairly new to all of this (dating and stuff) i just thought id go along with it and see what happens. well, i found out i wasnt comfortable haha
