Ah yes, dear Atreyu I remember him. He was sweet and handsome, but very troubled.
I have no idea who you are talking about, but I see what you did there.
He had an almost neverending literary and film career; some think the band "Atreyu" was named in his honor.

A trailer for The Neverending Story II: The Next Chapter (along with three others) were on the offical VHS release of Gremlins 2: The New Batch that I got in about 1991, and I remember watching them every time I played the tape. It was the only VHS tape I had with trailers on it. The other three trailers were for a drama movie called Montana, the goofy comedy Spaced Invaders, and also the documentary Roger & Me by Michael Moore (LONG before I knew who he was and before he was well-known) - I must have watched that tape over 30 or 40 times.
I subsequently watched Roger & Me a few years back. I'm sure all four movies hold the record for the trailers I've seen the most times in my life, and without ever watching three of the actual movies themselves.
This is the trailer I've seen countless times - but I've never watched any movies of this entire franchise. :lol:

Atreyu was a beautiful JUBber who helped a lot of people and brought joy wherever he went. But I got a couple comments from a JUB staffer indicating he wasn't all he seemed.

The original novel is supposed to be the best by far, after that comes the first movie which is considered a classic, the second movie is not that good but the concept art was done by Patrick Woodroffe, and that alone makes it interesting. The third and fourth movie never happened according to the fans. Don't mention the animated series ever.Quote:
