Icloud - "not enough local storage"
I bought extra 10 for $20 and it hardly feels like I 'got anything' for it.
I cant download updates and I have removed apps 109 mb or larger
How do I free up space?
Ipad is 16 gb
Camera roll is turned off
I did a hard reset but didnt notice any changes
Thx

Re: Icloud - "not enough local storage"
I always remove apps that I don't use at least once every few days. It's easy enough to redownload them if necessary. I think you should have bought the next size iPad. ;)
I don't know of any other solutions except for removing that which you don't frequently use.
Re: Icloud - "not enough local storage"
I don't understand what this has to do with iCloud. Your iCloud account is only storing 238 MB. You get 5GB free.
The iPad itself is full, not iCloud. Delete some apps you don't need.
Re: Icloud - "not enough local storage"
Your iCloud storage has nothing to do with real space left on your iPad. What size is your iPad? You need to go to Settings/General/Usage.
Re: Icloud - "not enough local storage"
what are the prices for icloud space per year?
Apple should make a micro SDcard slot like other phones.
micro SDcard = 64gig or 128gig or 320gig ?

Therein lies the problem.
Since you cannot upgrade your iPad, you need to go buy a new one (unless you are willing to live without some of the programs you are currently using).

Precisely.
I can buy a 32 GB micro SD card for $32. But a 32 GB iPad would cost me $600.

They won't ever because then they can't get fanboys to buy icloud space.
Also if you have an ipod or iphone, guess what? It will eat into your icloud space too.

10 gb is $20 per year
20 gb = $40 per year
50 gb = $100 per year
I want to share my analogy. Ive had ipod Topuch and now Ipad and still havent understood Itunes.
Itunes is like the mothership. All devices sync to the mothership, and not the other way around.
Arranging apps on your devices can be a waste of time because when you plug it in, it syncs to Itunes

Ive been deleting programs
thx
Re: Icloud - "not enough local storage"
I don't use it for music I just sync important stuff and I usually upload my phone's pictures to Dropbox.
Re: Icloud - "not enough local storage"
I was going to report back and show what is uncheck in the app section of ITunes but my computer won't recognize my Ipad when I try to plug it in. is this related to my wifi sync? if you wifi sync, does the computer no longer recognize the device when you plug it in?
I have no music in ITunes except for a few songs and a music video
Re: Icloud - "not enough local storage"
I deleted apps and now have 3.3 gb of free space
