Is this the end for GOProud?

So Jizzy la Saliva has apparently now come out in support of homo marriage following the victories this week.

I don't know about anyone else, but it would seem to me that this pathetic organization with only about 5 members left anyway is now utterly and totally irrelevant in the political discourse from this point forward.

Having backed not only the wrong horse...but the horse that wanted to buck them off its back....shirley to god the two haggard old party queens are going to have to get out there and find legitimate jobs because I have to think they aren't going to see another dime from either the Republican china and silverware homos ,,,,or even be able to collect nickels squeegeeing the windshields of their more liberal leaning brethren and sisteren.

I think they may be nearing collapse... it's something to hope for. GOProud has done a tremendous disservice to gay people... I wonder what the reaction is from the right wing jubbers on this one... I hope the group just disappears and their leaders gain a bit of sense.

One can only hope so. I understand there are gays who views are conservative. I have no problem with that. I do have a problem when they support a party whose goal still is to make all of us second class citizens for life. The current Republician isn't made up of conservatives. It's mostly made up of religious extremists who want to turn the U.S. into a theocracy.

GOProud has always been fake. It's comprised of "gay conservatives AND ALLIES". We have NO allies in the GOP. It was just used to further defang LCR who were at least legit in terms of being gay. GOProud was just a straight homophobic alliance with a few gay figureheads at the front, used to split the already pathetically small gay conservative support of the GOP.

Let's hope this is the end. It's time to stop pretending "jobs have to come first because you can't get a date without a job" makes sense on any level -- after all, what's the point of having a date if the ultimate end/goal/outcome of dating is marriage, and that isn't allowed?

Maybe someone should start a petition on Change.org or somewhere demanding that they just shut down the whole thing.
