besides going by rumors, i think there's some guys are suspect and are basically tossing signs outthere primarily through standing up for lgbt causes or lgbt related things. the question is are they just showing support or interests in lgbt things because they're tolerant and not ignorant or is it because they themselves are lgbt.

with that said, whoever mentioned the actor from true blood and james franco. i THINK those two are suspect. i remember thinking it was odd for alexander skarsgard to be showing a general interests in gay rights doing a "it gets better" video and james franco, he's quite obvious. i don't know about the alex dude but i think james franco is most definitely gay or bi.

Ok, well here we go. Before one can even begin to answer that we have ask how we define homosexuality and bisexuality? Is someone who at one point in their life slept with men automatically gay or bi? Because there are a lot of actors who have crawled in bed with a male casting director or director to get a part *cough* Keanu Reeves *cough* If you count guys like that A LOT of Hollywood is bisexual.

There are also actors who have experimented with men because they were playing gay men. I hear that both DiCaprio and Pitt (when he was younger) have dabbled, though in their personal life they very seldom have sex with men.

That being said there is a LARGE number of gay/bi actors who say they're straight. And with stories like this it's not surprise not hard to figure out why. That being said I think most of your usual suspects, Cruise, Jackman, Gyllenhaal, Travolta, Smith etc. are probably gay. There's truth to rumor, especially those in a town bent on sending out certain image.

As per Jared Padalecki my gut instinct is that he is straight, maybe in the has fooled around with a guy before. I don't remember hearing any chatter about Jared until he started working with Jensen. Jensen, however, has been pinging gaydars since his soap opera days. The fact he was a cheerleader in school certainly doesn't help his case. And of course there's the good old finger ratio...

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure he's not straight. Very sure in fact--there's a spectrum and if anything, he may reside in the middle. This dude has had a boyfriend before.
