Alabama man pleads guilty to obscenity charges after rubbing his genitals on an unconscious LSU fan after BCS title game

Well, let's pull away from rape and sweaty balls for a minute. I mean, if you can bear doing so.

As a pedestrian, I've been struck by a car twice. Both times, I was knocked on my ass, but otherwise unhurt. Amd both times, I was doing the same thing when I was struck. I was walking across the street, with a walk signal. And a driver turned right, going from parallel-to-me to perpendicular, and struck me.

So here's the question. Who's fault was this? If I had been severely injured, who would shoulder the blame? Legally, there's no question. The driver was. I had the walk signal, which technically gives me the right of way. But pat's point, if there must be one, s tgat I should look out for my own safety. I should beware and be aware that right turners can and do create a hazard in those situations. And you can bet after being knocked on my ass a couple times, I keep my eyes peeled for them. Not because I know I'm wrong. Not because "I'm just asking to get hit walking across the street during those times". But because I don't like getting hit by cars. Being legally "right" may help the lawsuit and may pay or the hospital bills, but I'd just as soon not visit the hospital, thanks. I'll keep my eyes open instead.

This guy wasn't asking for balls-to-the-face. But the best way to avoid balls to the face isn't to have strong laws on the books to discourage balls to the face. It's to not put yourself in a position where it coud happen. This trial didn't undo him having balls on hs face. He's now just a guy who had balls to the face who got the guy put in jail.

I understand that the guy obviously wasn't the smartest of the bunch, but I also understand what Pat Grimshaw is implying and what he is doing in the thread. Stupidity on any ones part doesn't excuse or give you free reign to do something like this or any other crime.

If you want to put nearly everyone in prison, yes maybe it is a crime and you should go to jail too.

Some of the posts in this thread show why so many of these types of crimes are still undereported. Going by the logic here,if you pass out,it's your own fault if you get sexually abused and you shouldn't go to police.
As for the big bad government argument..I missed where putting one's sexual organs on someone else without their consent was ever a human right's issue.

I agree that the act of him placing his balls on a passed out person is heinous, but I don't think that we should be sending him to prison. What a waste of taxpayer money. Let them fight it out in civil court. That will be more punishment enough for the asshole.

This family woman in the pink cardigan has described him as 'morally reprehensible and lewd' and allowed the perpetrator to do a plea bargain to get 'boot camp' and gaol.

and breh, there's a difference between someone accidently bumping into you and someone intentionally doing it.

i respect you guys opinion but i think it's ridiculous to tell someone to smile when they've been sexually assaulted. you do realize that what that guy did to the other guy was sexual assault. what happened if the guy had herpes or a std? that could have happened to the dude.

what would you do if that guy were you? how would you handle it? would you be smiling and acting okay when you had a guy basically shoving his dick into your face and starts humping you in front of everybody. folks all laughing at you and taping you the whole incident with videos appearing on youtube. me personally, the dude should be locked up for even doing something so stupid.

It's sexual assult,no matter how hard some people here try to whitewash it.

In my opinion it should be considered a crime but at the same time I think it's far from being an actual sexual assault.

Nothing suggests he was getting sexual pleasure from the act so putting him on a sex offenders list would be ridiculous.

A fine for drunken misbehavior is in my opinion appropriate for the act.

I feel really sorry for this guy. He's going to end up in prison for nothing more than a dumb prank.

I'd say the people filming it and then releasing it committed a even bigger crime. The more people see a humiliating act, the worse it is for the victim.

I understand why the victim would be humiliated by the video but the video is evidence and probably serves him better. The truth to it is that he shouldn't feel humiliated at all because someone took advantage of him when he was passed out, the only people that would make him feel humiliated over such a thing are people who aren't worth a thought.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that this is often done by jocks (or wannabes) to someone they in their "wisdom" deem to be gay.
