Soderpop our long lost friend- why does mononucleosis target tennis players so much
LONDON -- The ATP opposes the U.S. Open's switch to a Monday final in 2013 and is not satisfied with the prize money increase for the tournament.
The U.S. Tennis Association announced last Friday that the women's final would be moved to Sunday and the men's championship match to Monday next year.
While the move builds in a rest day ahead of each final for the first time, the ATP said Monday it was against the change and would continue to fight it.
"The ATP and its players have made it clear to the U.S. Open that we do not support a Monday final," the governing body for men's tennis said in a statement. "We strongly believe the U.S. Open should keep a similar schedule to the other Grand Slams, with the men's semifinals completed by Friday and the final on Sunday.
Thanks glad to see not everyone in the tennis world is on crack what were they thinking, Monday Final bwahahaha. So what happens when the whole of Monday is rained out? They play on Tuesday

Regarding the scheduling, Wimbledon does it perfectly, why they don't all do it that way I don't know.
US Open- instead of a Monday final- they should do the SF like all the other slams and not play them back to back with the final- that's been the problem the last couple years- that whole Super Saturday format.- The players should protest to make Open like others. That last Thurs/Fri at the Open is BEYOND BORING!!!!

Berdych is a great looking guy. I think I mentioned earlier on the thread that when he and his girlfriend looked like a Hollywood couple when they arrived at the O2 finals.

Yep, fine man :). I don't know why he hasn't done a sexy shoot. I don't think he's that uncomfortable 'cause he did the beach vid at AO this year and posts the odd shirtless pic on his Facebook. Everyone entitled to their own opinions so don't worry about it. I like Tomic because he is a character, good or bad I think sport needs them. That's one reason I like Novak and not Federer for example.

Nando is looking slimmer (and better for it). Time will tell where the head's at though which is the bigger problem. He lost his first match in a TB (classic Nando style) so I shan't hold my breath :p.
