Am gonna miss tennis , off season is crap.
Am gonna miss tennis , off season is crap.
Good match to end the season and, obviously I am biased, but I think it is good Novak won. It means there are no questions being asked about his status as world number one - even by Federer!! They both really wanted it last night and it was so competitive, but the best man won. Can't believe how fast and bendy Nole is.
Another great year, marred only by Rafa's absence so I'm glad to hear he still hopes to be back before the end of 2012. I simply cannot wait for Australia, should be awesome and I've got a feeling next year we might see a couple more players step up in a big way.
Some videos 2 help get us through some of the off season
1st up is Azarenka's bf Segei Bubka who you may have read about falling off a building this summer when he got locked outta the bathroom
Next up is the lovely hairy Pete Samprass
The extemely fit Pablo Cuevas
I love Novak more ;)

If we keep one another company, it doesn't need to be a lonely off-season ;)
I think Djokovic will be playing an exhibition (against Del Potro??) in South America soon. Hope it will be televised
lol this vid is mesmerizing. Tomas said he wanted to do something special for his fans. This is certainly interesting.
^ Ehm memerising ?

Some pix of our 2012 ATP WTF Champion
And our 2012 ATP WTF Doubles Champs
Marcel Granollers y Marc Lopez (only the 2nd Spanish team 2 win)
mmm hot, I take it they will be playing doubles for Spain this weekend. Its hard to see who is going to win it this time. Berdych and Ferrer in a 5 setter outside of clay is anyone's guess
Thanks tennis6, we are relying on you during the quiet months! Love that pic of Novak in the tight black top.
That video from Tomas is interesting, what an innovation if they were able to one day put a camera on a player while competing!
RIO DE JANEIRO -- Novak Djokovic was in Rio de Janeiro on Friday for the opening of a tennis court in a shantytown and will go on to play a soccer match with some former Brazil stars.
Djokovic joined Brazilian champion Gustavo Kuerten for the inauguration of the public court in the Rocinha slum, one of Latin America's largest. He will also face the former three-time French Open champion in an exhibition match Saturday at the Maracanazinho Stadium.
Coming off the ATP Finals title, Djokovic will play a soccer friendly before a Brazilian league match on Sunday, when he will join Serbian countryman Dejan Petkovic, who starred for several Brazilian clubs in the last decade.
Romario, Cafu, Bebeto and Zico were among the former Brazil players expected to participate.

David Cup final is proving a humdinger! Berdych's career could be made or broken tomorrow. I've always though he was the most serious threat to the top 4 - along with Delpo - and if he wins tomorrow it might give him the confidence to really push on.
This post is 4 up & comers/late bloomers
Adam Chadaj - rank 560 - age 28 - Poland
Diego Hidalgo - rank 500 - age 19 - Ecuador
Julio Campozano - rank 250 - age 26 - Ecuador

Stanislav Vovk - rank 544 = age 21 - Russia
Missing Rafa...some random pix
Just watching Davis Cup and admiring Ferrer's monster arms and Berdych's gorgeous legs - just wish they wore shorter shorts so that I could see them better.
My last post- thought I'd make it here....a couple moderators have the knives out for me (because a few prick posters constantly reporting me, mainly right wing nut jobs- no idea why they'd be at a gay porn site or why the owners/mods would defend them, but.....)- They banned me for a week, but the only thing it taught me was- I have A LOT more time without spending an hour or 2 here a day- so, I decided to just quit- it's not worth it. Had some fun- wish you all well!
OK- 1 more so I'll end with an even 5,025 posts :)
OMG Ugly ass Stepanek did it. Happy for the Czechs, well deserved and long sought after
Slightly disappointed that Steps stole a lot of the glory by winning that final match but he did play some great stuff and showed nerve. Please for the czechs and especially Berdych who I've grown to really like, especially as so many people seem to dislike him!
VERY hot thread :)
Couple more Nole videos...is he not going 2 take a break (5 weeks 'til Abu Dhabi)
More fun @ youtube
If you can't love and admire Novak Djokovic after those two videos then there is no hope for you. The guy is just awesome. Thanks for all the vids.
from his tweets, Novak is in RIO- Is it a coincidence that he there during Rio Gay Pride Festival...1 million poeple went to the parade- wonder if Novak did :)
^^^ I doubt it.
Doubt he was at the Gay Pride Festival, though even if he were there, he would be there just to support it. Don't think the guy is gay.
He may have gone, prob not, but only as a supporter. He seems to be friendly towards all his fans and he would have to be an idiot not to be aware of how many gay guys are crazy about him. However, I too doubt that he will ever play for our team.
don't think he's gay either...very gay supportive- saw the video where the gay kid at the Open asked him to marry him- Novak invited him down to the court to hit and hugged him- very different from his teammates- and 75% of Eastern Europe
I'm hoping we see some holiday shots of Novak. Preferably in his speedos at the beach.
