So, erm. So glad Finn and his girlfriend are over and it wasn't extended beyond that episode. That was such a twisted relationship they had going on. All the non-consensual stuff was so icky and scary. Jess was so right in saving them from themselves by forcing Seth to intervene.
I guess Seth is leaving? I didn't understand why he had a goodbye moment with Jess...with sad music playing in the background. Huh? Mkay. I'll miss him if he goes tho.
Next week's looks kind of boring. There is a training probation worker bossing around Curtis? And the thing with Rudy also looks stupid. There is a THIRD version of him? That we're now just discovering? ...Seems so silly. But we'll see.

S4 Ep 4 was really dark. I will miss Curtis, that was heartbreaking!
Now the entire original crew is all gone. RIP old Misfits. I'm not sure how long they're going to continue on with the show. Maybe if the ratings hold up even though I've read that they've declined a lot. I don't think audiences can handle so much change at once...
I was so hoping that the probation worker would die a horrible death, but that scene between him and Curtis was a surprise. Was he being honest, or just fucking with Curtis' head?
Im trying to give the new series/season a chance. I was heartbroken over Curtis. I really hate how he died. However, I suspect that I wouldn't have liked any death scenario since I loved him so much.
I like the new cast. I think that they are funny and youthful and I anticipate what they have instore for them. Im dying to see what Alex's (the barman?) power is. Hopefully we will find out next week. Whatever it is, it prevents him form going on dates. :confused:

So, we're 5 episodes in to series 4.
Few things are bothering me:
- This series feels so directionless, there are no interesting story arcs.
- I REALLY tried to like Finn. I tried. But I can't stand this character. He is ruining the show for me. And from what I'm seeing around (online), a lot of people feel the same way that I do. To make it worse, he seems to get so much screen time when Jess is a much more interesting character and Alex still needs to be developed.
- The main characters haven't been using their powers for much of anything-- their powers haven't been central to this season aside from the Rudy-centric epside. One of the main reasons I watch the show is for the supernatural elements (I love urban fantasies). So that's annoying to me.
- The raunch level keeps getting more and more extreme and it's so obviously pervasive on the show, now. And because Rudy is always the go-to guy for this, it's dragging down the character. They are really fucking overdoing it. It's pathetic. They can't go a few minutes without inserting some crass humor. The dialogue this season is just riddled with it.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to next week's episode because judging by the teaser, it seems to feature Alex heavily and I find him intriguing. What on earth is he doing to guys penises on the downlow? Can't wait to find out. 0_o
The first three seasons were so good that I would have given this series the best series ever award, but since kelly is gone... it is emptier. A lot.
Nathan should have remained instead of Rudy. Nathan is fun, Rudy is just plain gross.
So the gang continues to not use their powers, much to my chagrin, but erm...

- Love the new girl Abby. She is kooky.
- Episode 6 was definitely my fav of S4 so far. Love the horror elements.
I figured Alex's refusal to bang Jess had something to do with his dick, like he ejaculated lasers or acid or something. Then when he started checking out other dude's junk, I thought maybe his power was that he had to suck dicks to survive, like some kind of dick vampire. Hey, this show has done weirder shit than that (as seen in the most recent episode).
Why didn't anyone else outside the gang get numbers on their head? (Aside from that girl that knew the guy on acid?). Was that explained? When Rudy was going to fuck the girl with the bangs, I was expecting that she had a number like 3000 hidden under her hair.
Well Alex had a vagina. That was definately not a guess of mine. Im still waiting for him and Jess to build chemistry. It still seems kind of forced. However, it is gradually getting better.

I try to keep tabs on whatever new projects the original cast are involved in just to see if any of them appeal to me. They are all so talented and it's nice to see them getting regular work.
I was under the impression that it had something to do with the guy in the hallway yelling at the girl to tell him the truth about the number of people she'd slept with. Just as the gang were walking by, I assumed that he made the number appear on the girls forehead and they walked right through the weird aura that was a byproduct of that... - Sappy Rudy was a nice change of pace. Nadine has me curious.
- I honestly think Abby has so much potential, I think she could possibly be the best character Misfits has ever had. I'm excited to see what her power and mysterious back-story is.
- It's great that Alex got his issue sorted out and all but it's annoying that they made him revert back to his womanizing ways and I guess he's narcissistic, too, since he was watching himself in the mirror the entire time he was in bed with Jess. I still want the character to stick around because Alex is the only really hot guy on the show and I do like the bar as a hang-out for the gang, it's nice to get away from the community center. Ugh @ them ruining Alex. Anyway.
This can only mean that they are setting things up for Jess to dump him and settle for repulsive Finn.

It's worth a try, in my opinion. Just give it a try, maybe watch the first few episodes and see where that leads. I think it's a great show with a unique spin on the superhero genre and it has nice balance of drama and comedy but, even though it is a hit with many people, it may not be to your taste.Quote:

So the S4 finale was action packed and fun. I laughed really hard in many parts.
- Poor Rudy but at least he had some good moments with Nadine. The 4 Horsemen were pretty underwhelming in the end, tho.
- I think the lowest moment in the history of Misfits has to be Finn's cum dripping out of Abby and on to the floor. Just why does Finn exist? He ruins everything.
- I am so relieved that Alex wasn't killed off. I wonder what his power will be after the lung transplant...some people are guessing that he'll turn into a series villain. That would be so fucking cool. But I am still weirdly rooting for him and Jess.
Can't believe it's already over tho. I hope they improve on the group dynamics and story arcs in S5 if there is one. Overall, I think S4 turned out very well despite having to basically start from scratch with the cast.
I was so looking forward to this episode. I too am a bit dissapointed with the four horsemen. I couldn't get the images that Charmed and Supernatural have instilled in my head and then these four little men show up on bikes.
I was really hoping that Rudy was going to find love. Those scenes were really beautiful. I have to admit that I have developed a crush on Gilgun. He is an amazing talent.
Im not too torn up about Alex and Jess. Their romantic scenes were always off to me, for some reason. I thought that "Evil Rudy" and Jess had better chemistry. I would have liked to see more of that.
