I've seen other interviews where I don't get a gay vibe on him at all....- youtube him- lots of video interviews of him out there....but there always seems to be a moment when the effeminate traits show through.
Agreed. Just as a gay man could have typically "straight" mannerisms due to his upbringing, a straight guy could have more effeminate mannerisms due to his surroundings. Either way, he seems like a pretty cool kid.Quote:

I personally love his personality. He really is smart and refreshing. He is so comfortable and if he is gay, well,he'll come out eventually. they just look smoker yellow at times- maybe a few weeks after the bleach job and a week before the next...

Judging from what he's said about his upbringing, I think that if he was gay he wouldn't be ashamed of it or try to hide it. The mannerisms and stuff are inevitable if you hang out with enough gay people, I think.
That said, he seems to have a really good understanding of sexuality, because he's said things like 'I identify as straight' before, so he's a pretty open guy, but I don't think he's lying when he says he's straight.
He's sooooo cute to me. I just want to play in his hair. I love the little faces he makes when he sings.

Effeminate mannerisms can be picked up from women too, though, not just from other gay, effeminate men. And it's not like all gay guys have effeminate mannerisms, just like not all people with effeminate mannerisms are gay men.
Same goes for people who spend lots of time doing theater and drama – they often have exaggerated mannerisms. Dancers, too – both female and male.

I think believe that the problem with the so-called "gay mannerisms" is not actually so much about gestual mannerisms of some celebrities or people, but indeed about some mainstream "mental mannerisms".
