It has been officially announced by herself that the new album is entitled: BIONIC

The first single seems to be : GLAM described as "a poppy hip-hop inflected throwback to Madonna's Vogue"

I find Linda Perry a little safe and predictable in her songwriting/producing. It looks like Christina is going outside of her normal boundaries for this album by working w/ more indie artists like Santigold, Le Tigre, Sia, Ladytron, MIA, Goldfrapp, etc., but holding onto Linda Perry is sort of odd. I just hope the Perry track(s) doesn't stick out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the songs.

Yes she has the case of "diva over-singing syndrome."

However, in the new Marie Claire article, she says she's learned to use a voice better and isn't afraid to "sing less" anymore.

I think might be because early on in her career, she's felt that she had to prove that she could really sing, so maybe the belting is just habit.

I agree with you. Perry is a great in what she does--but after a while you know what to expect from her, with little surprise.

Christina's got her work cut out with me. She impressed the hell out of me with Back to Basics and I'm not really so sure she can do it again. Hmm, we'll see. :-)

Back to Basics will be hard to top, but this should be a interesting year for music.(!)

But Christina Aguilera/Mainstream music fans should be really happy to know that her lead single "Glam"(as well as other songs) is being produced by the team of Tricky Stewart and The Dream who together have worked on Rihanna's "Umbrella", Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body, Beyonce's "Single Ladies" as well as many other huge hits.

I know this is from the "Burlesque" Soundtrack but this continues to concern me about how different "Bionic" will really be from her previous output.

RCA has announced Bionic has now been pushed back till either april or may.

And seems like the 3 videos are really Xtina's next project...

I heard Christina's publicist says that the viral videos are not her. I don't know what to think, I hope it is her though. Looking at the recent video, it does looked like the word "X-tina" on the chick's outer knee in the water.

Goldfrapp said that they worked with aguilera on a song for her next record... but the song is not finished yet and they don't know if it's gonna be on her upcoming album or not...

“The songs have a lot of elements we’re known for, like a garage guitar sound, schoolyard chants, new wave-y synths, electro beats, and somehow it all sounds crazily right with Christina’s unbelievable voice,” band member Johanna Fateman wrote.

This was originally reported when plans for the "album" were announced. I thought maybe their collaboration was a no go since no one had mentioned it yet. I'm a big fan of JD.
