Hey, if you want to go camping in Wisconsin in December, January or February, feel free. Though going to Wisconsin for a Chicago meet-up seems a little silly to me.

Winter camping is great. For you naysayers who think it would be too cold... you find ways to warm things up.
I usually throw on my bathrobe and a throw...and I did have a very cold camping experience this spring with some friends...IT WAS NOT WARM AT ALL!

I think there's something for everybody. Aside from the restaurants and Centre on Halsted, most places are 21+.
Some places are more clique-ish. Some are for the under-25 crowd. Some for the cross-dressers. Some for the promiscuous.

I've never been to any place with a gay theme or that is openly gay and I heard boystown has lots of those places so its been in my mind for a while
But since I'm only 19 I guess I'll stick to restaurants and places to eat or other places for under 21
Even walking about on a Saturday evening can be fun. I've met cool random people on the streets. It also feels liberating for some to just be 'out' in both the proverbial and literal sense of the word.
Well, I don't know what there is to do for the under-21 crowd.
Perhaps lovewill has some suggestions.
Oh, and I do BBQ when it's warmer. So there's always that. =]

sadly there isnt much to do for gay teens in boystown. its one of the critiques of the community and also why the center on halsted was built. the gay community is changing everywhere, gettin younger and younger. our community institutions need to reflect that.Quote:
