Oops, I thought you were talking about Mary Ann :D
Oops, I thought you were talking about Mary Ann :D
I haven't been following the discussion, but:
I like how they're geographically accurate. I-49 is mentioned (which runs from Shreveport to Lafayette, Louisiana), other small LA towns are mentioned...
Why does Drew Marshall look like my Rene?
How did you know about Rene? Is it in the books?
Rene :( say it aint so, not my Rene :cry::cry:
Hopefully its not really him because its too obvious to be him so maybe the killer will be someone else but not my Rene
Why do i always fall for the bad guys. First Sylar, now Rene :( not my Rene.
Before Amy killed Eddie i liked her alot; but i still felt bad that she died.
Tara and her mom? What an intense and raw scene, both actresses nailed it although i dont know if Tara had to use all those expletives. As mad and disappointed as i could be with my mother no way in hell i could talk to her like that lol.
The pig lady Maryann and Tara that looks interesting.
Jessica was annoying and immature and since she died she is unlikely to experience any growth.
Sookie? What a bitch, i never had a problem with her until tonight with the way she treated Bill.
Fuck! So many annoying characters on the show right now...it's starting to lose it's appeal quite frankly.
Sookie turned into an annoying brat, Jason's an annoying and dumb stupid fuck, Sam's a lil' better now (probably because Bill was out of the way for some time) but still a bit annoying...list goes on.
Ryan was running around in his briefs again this week.
I'm glad i'm not the only one who thought Sookie was behaving like a selfish brat. I know she's the star of the show, but it's kind of irksome that EVERYBODY is interested in her. I felt bad for poor Tara, but at least her subplot with Mary-Ann looks intriguing.
And I agree about Jason. Physically, he a sexy guy but he's repulsive at the same time. Sure he's as dumb as a box of rocks but there's something more than that...it's like he's got some serious holes in his soul. I think he's kind of creepy.
And I had a bad feeling about Renee ever since his little proposal scene. There was some ominous foreshadowing in that...
Otherwise, I was little sorry they killed off Amy so soon. I thought it would have been more interesting if she got turned into a vampire herself.
I dunno. I have to watch the episode again, but my feeling is that this show has really 'gone off the rails' a bit.
The scenes with Bill and that bitchy... I can't even remember her name, the 'new' vampire Bill just 'made' were downright silly. Really broke the tone of the show for me....
Too many story lines going in too many directions. I'm not even sure what Alan Ball has to do with all of this, he's not written a thing in 10 episodes.
But, I think I've figured out who the murderer is.... ;)
^ Have faith, my friend. :)
I think Alan Ball knows exactly where he wants the series to go.
At several times this past episode, I caught myself with my mouth open. Like when they showed the dinner table, I knew Amy was done for (and especially after the killer walked in, obviously.)
The symbolism between SFU and TB are kind of similar, but at the same time different. Thinking about it, I loved how Amy flew up in the air during their trip on V, signifying she really is gone "in the air."
It's the smaller details in the show that I love, and will continue to watch it :D
Also, I don't think Sookie is a bitch. Bill made it quite evident from the second episode that if she was in trouble, he'd be there ASAP. It's a sense of security that has been made evident since then, and then all of a sudden she was attacked at the bar and he didn't show up. Just emotion being shown between the characters, imho ..|
Tara and her mother's scene was powerful. I agree that I'd never talk to my own mother that way, but after what Tara's been through, it seems normal.
Mary Ann....hmmm....why did she run Tara off the road in the first place?
Sorry for the ramblings!
Bill told her he would be back. Sookie should have at least let him explain.
Not even 2 days and she is swapping spit with Sam, total hypocrite slut.
She saves her virginity for the "right man" but chases him out the house not letting him say a word.
Talking about Bill putting vampire politics over her when she knew the severity of Bills actions.
Sookie is selfish, slutty and ungrateful.
Thats a grade A bitch to me.
^ I dunno if Sookie really understands vampire politics. If that were the case, why didn't Bill say "Hey, I'm gonna be gone for a couple nights because I killed a fellow vampire and I might be put into a coffin of silver for years on end?"
I think it's deeper than that. Or, it boils down to drama
Also, the whole making out with Sam thing - he tried it once, Sookie gave in. He tried for more, Sookie resisted. I wonder if the whole "You wanted to go further" conversation they had on the steps after she found out about Sam had something to do with it....
Just proposing ideas, of course! ..|
Yesterday had me glued to the T.V. as usual.
Tara's mamma should be ashamed of herself, that girl pratically kept her shell of a body alive until she could finally fix herself. She hit the girl with a bottle, and the one time she has a chance to actually be there for her daughter for all those screwed up years, she blows it! She deserved everything Tara said to her.
Amy's dead, YAY!! I was a little said at first when it seemed like she'd still be there cause she didn't leave but she was gone in the end. :-<
I got such a kick out of Layfayette's part, you could see the senator breaking down, I bit if Lafayette kissed him he would've been powerless. My hero, putting his hoe powers to good use.
I was yelling WHORE everytime Sookie was on the screen.
Not the cajun angel. Not Rene!! At first I thought it was Terry cause of the boots when I walked in the room to kill Amy. But now the murders kind of make sense, who's close to Jason and would be the first to hear about the girl he just finished fucking?
Oh, I knew the killer had to be someone from out of left field--but why Rene? Why should that sexy cajun slice of man meat be the killer. I guess it'll make for good TV, but dammit, they better not kill him off. That smile just kills me--I can't watch him without thinking "Gambit."
lol those BloodCopyCom videos are awesome lol it makes True Blood seem like a real life reality TV show
*sigh* I can't believe we are at the season finale already!
And that seen between Tara and her mom was powerful. I can't believe how alone Tara is. Her mom's abandoned her, the exorcism turned out to be a total crock just when she finally got up the nerve to do it, and her boyfriend can't stop humping her best friend's leg. I hope this Mary-Ann thing somehow turns out to be a good break for her though I doubt it.
I dono if much has ben written about, it but that show has some powerful acting.
Seriously some of the best acting on TV right now.
Those characters come to life and make you believe in them.
What makes you think the killer it's Rene? I've been confused as to why people are really convinced of that...
^^ - Because Sookie had images of a woman being killed, and in that image the woman was wearing an apron and they tracked it down to another town. Sookie and Sam went to the restaurant and the police station, and they had a suspect named "Marshall" or something like that. And the police was going to fax a pic of this guy to Bon Temps, and it ended up being Rene.
The fax of the picture was the brother of the girl killed in Sookie's dream - while strongly insinuating that he is the killer, we won't know till next week ;)
But damn. Renee just got so much hotter in my book from that YouTube above! ..|
I've been traveling a lot for the last two months and have only seen a few episodes.
I think I have the storyline pretty straight (though I don't think I saw the gay vampire.)
Could someone fill me in on one thing?
At the end of episode 2 or 3 some vampirephobes burned down Bill's house when he wasn't there, but other vampires had gone in there the night before to rest.
Did they die permanently in the fire and were there any repercussions from that?
I'm sad... I loved Amy, they could have done more with her... It was too soon.
And now Rene is going to get taken away too most likely via jail or killed off...
They need to get rid of the stupid people, not the good people. I don't like Bill or Sookie or Sam (well sort of Sam). But I doubt they're going anywhere anytime soon. I think the show is sort of picking up though, I hated the first few episodes.
This is the actor who played him:
How can you resist this? HOW??? :sex::sex::sex:
And he's dead now...
Dare I ask...
How'd you deal with the whole blowjob scene, where that one hot gay guy was purposely giving the vampires (Hep D? I can't remember now...)
He is really pretty in that picture. :)
Well, if it weren't for the frequently naked Jason, I doubt I would have made it to the end of the first episode.
It certainly isn't nearly as good as Anne Rice's vampire chronicles.
But it's growing on me.
I'm enjoying Tara's storyline. Clearly she's been taken to a bordello to live. I had the funny thought that maybe it's a place where vampire's can bite real people instead of drinking their bottled substitute. Sort of a blood whorehouse.
And I'm telling you, actors rarely get me hot, but I would love to teach Jason about the joys of being a bottom. I wish I had seen the episode where he had to keep jerking off. It might have been the first time I would have masturbated while watching a TV show.
At least I got to see him completely nude, except no frontal only from behind.
Ok I have to stop talking and fantasizing about him. AND DAMN YOU FOR MAKING ME!!! :grrr:
Fuck I want! I even had wet dreams about him.
ARGH!!! GOTTA SHUT UP!!! STOP!!!!!!!!!](*,)
Are you a pothead Focker?
At least you'll always have your [wet] dreams...
^ Nah. You'll get my sense of humor after reading some/all of my posts...
I think you're the real you. But I was just saying that after you told me to "shut the fuck up."
In a nice way, of course ;)
Ah! Sorry...must be the tea. Probably having a certain effect...
Anyways, please don't torture me anymore by mentioning Liam, the sexiest and hottest vampire ever to live! PLEASE!!!
ARGH! Gonna dream about him tonight.
Jerk away, my friend.
I watched the most recent episode again tonight. More closely, and, you know... sober. ;)
IMO, I think that we may be reacting to a 'misdirect' in thinking that Rene is the killer.
Yes, that's definitely him in the fax photo. But, that doesn't mean he's the one. The 'pie guy' in the diner said that there was no evidence that he killed his sister, and the cop at the station looked like he couldn't find his ass with both hands.
It's conceivable that he was so upset over the murder of his sister that he moved to a different town and changed his name.
But, who knows ?
And as for Tara... WTF ? Is that a fancy whorehouse she's been taken to ? How would the cops not know about that place ?
("The gin in your martini, the clams on your linguine... Yes we put the 'spring' in...)
*ahem* That was just for abs. ;)
Anyway, the bottom line is we just don't know. But, if I had to guess...
It's not Rene...
:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Now I'll have that song stuck in my head for the rest of the day!
Ok...after the last episode, the characters and show are getting a little less likable. For the following reasons:
Sookie - Little bratty bitch who doesn't get her way. She knew that Bill killed the vampire, why can't she understand that he has to go and take care of the consequences of that? Just one episode ago you were crying and sobbing because you thought he was dead.
Bill - The whole storyline with the new vampire girl is just plain annoying. I wanted to reach through the TV and bitch slap that girl.
Jason/Killer Storyline - Been dragging on all season without a clue of who is doing all of this. Better provide closure into who killed the girls and grandma in the finale. If HBO leaves this storyline as a cliff hanger for next season, I will be pissed.
Does anyone else remember a scene where a girl at the restaurant had asked Sam to walk her to her car because she was scared, and Sam put on a latex glove or something before he walked out?
Maybe it wasn't his foot. OK, it was prolly his foot, but maybe he was just sleeping. OK, he's dead. I tried. ;)
Quite the way to wind up the season, huh guys ?
Still, not without it's cheese.
Thank goodness Rene kept his "Cajun Accents for Actors" cassette in the same box with his vampire porn.
René? Thats bull shit. He was so cute. The on thing i don't understand. I've spent some time down in LA and most coon-asses don't trust people from away. René seemed like he was a townie how did he just "fit in" like that. Maybe I'm just pissed because i find a cajun accent fucking hot.
I can't believe they killed Lafayette! If they're smart they'll have him rise again. He would make a awesome vampire.
Is no one else weirded out by the scene with the lady and her pig? It was like it was sending evil messages to her or something. She was blurring......
So now we gotta figure the Senator dude is or cavorts with vampires and had somethin to do with layfayette's um death? Who else would have done that to him?
I don't like what ever the Hell is going on with Jason. What did they wanna go and mess his character up like that?
The creepy pig lady's story line could be fun, she is gonna fuck with Tara.
Oh, and what do you suppose the story is with Tara that hunky guitar playin dude. What's his story?
So much good stuff in the final show but it needed to be longer, to much to digest until summer.
