I agree. To me, he is by far the sexiest thing on the show. I hope his part keeps expanding. (err, you know what I mean ;))
I wonder if that's his real accent or not. If not, he's damned good at faking it.
Now, if we can just get his shirt off

I agree. He is hot. I love the Cajun accent. I saw an old movie on AMC where a young Dennis Quaid does cajun...totally hot!
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Count me in the Rene Fan Club. His accent is his whole demeanor is incredibly sexy. I'm loving this show!
Am I the only one who think Bill has really horrible hair? It just doesn't look natural for some reason.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
I've watched 3 episodes of True Blood so far and I have to say I'm falling in love with the show. It's just so weird and interesting. I'm sure I'll be watching the next 5 episodes between today and tomorrow. I can't wait to see where the story will go.
HBO finally has a good show with fantasy elements unlike "Carnivale" which I watched every episode of and I found to be ploddingly slow, confusing(I don't think the writers even knew where the hell they were going), and just flat out disappointing.
Thank God HBO canceled the awful "John from Cincinnati" and brought in True Blood.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Ok...I'm pissed off that they killed the hottest guy on the show!! DAMNIT!!! Yeah, he was evil but he was so fucking hot! I'm talking that bald vampire with green eyes...my fucking god...how motherfucking hot is he? Those eyes, that mouth, that body, the bald head look...holy shit! He can bite me anytime! How come none of you mentioned him yet? I've had wet dreams about him already since I saw him for the 1st time...
Btw, am I the only one who's finding Sam to be extremely irritating? He pisses me off now. His competition (read hatred) against Bill to get Sookie is pathetic and irritating. I wish someone would kill him already...yeah, he's irritating me that much!

The gay dude is hilarious and a great character.

It wouldn't be JUB if there was a gay character on TV that wasn't being bashed for not being John fucking Wayne.

Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Rene has had lines in prior episodes but last episode was the first i noticed his accent and found it such a turn on. So sexy the way he talked and delievered his lines.
Thank goodness for DVR i had to keep rewinding until i came.
I don't know why i got a weird vibe during the proposal scene. I knew Rene wasa good guy so i don't knowwhy i felt something bad was gonna happen.
-

Because of the setting and music. I thought the same thing. I was just waiting for a vamp to run out and slit throats.

Jason has sex with a man??!(!)

Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Only 3 more episodes left :(
I was back and forth between Amazing Race so i will have to watch again.
Anywho, loved Jasons one on one talk with the gay vamp. I didnt want it to end hoping that Jason would have a personal revalation.
And they still didnt tell us how a human becomes a vampire. After the vampire said he finally found someone to convert him, i was hoping Jason would say, "How does one become a vampire anyways?"
Why would Sookie not be ok with Tara and Sam?
How weird is Sam?
Where did Rene's sexy accent go?
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Another great episode ! I have to watch it again to pick up every detail.
The only thing that throws me is that the 'gay vamp' is played by Stephen Root, who supplies the voice of 'Bill' in "King of the Hill". And at times, sounds just like him....
All the actor's bio's are up on hbo dot com. The guy who plays 'Jason' is a yoga instructor from Oz in 'real life'.
Love it.

Amy's hot. Her nude scene last episode? was amazing, she has great tits.
I don't like Jason much, not really digging the dumb jock type character he is.
I wonder when Tara's going to do a nude scene. :D

I knew his voice seemed gayly familiar!! My only problem with this episode was that it was only 30mins intead of the usual hour](*,)

It was a regular hour-long episode.

Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
love love love this show more and more...so sad there are only 3 episodes left!
Sam....where to begin....so we now know for certain that he is the dog...so he's a shape shifter type thing or something like that....but it doesn't explain to me the sniffing of the dead waitress' sheets.
I'm waiting to see how evil Amy turns out to be...you know something is coming with her and not just with the killing of Stephen Root.
and Alexander Skarrsgard who plays Eric....HOT...his arms in this last episode had me hard the whole time...haha

.......Dammit, I had a feeling i missed something. I thought it was only 30mins because my channel info said it was from 9-10, but the episode ended at 9:30. Then after I heard there were only 3 more episodes left I thought maybe they chopped them episodes in half to draw it out longer. Silly me

Same here. I was hoping Jason was going to get into some man love with lafayette
as a way of paying for the V.
But so far it has not happened.
Then again this week, when Jason started to bond with that vampire he kidnapped, I thought he might be talked into something. I mean Jason is such a horny fucker:badgrin:
Well 3 more to go so who knows, will Jason finally get some from dude.
well we can wait and hope.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
I'm actually fed up with the Jason character. Does he have to get naked in every single episode?!?!? (yeah, I know, shocking for a gay man to say that).
However, the actor who plays Jason is a very accomplished individual, actor, athlete, yoga, published writer, etc. I guess the fact that he portrays a skanky him-bo so good, must be because he really is good at acting.
But Eric is instant erectiong! ..|
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
I'm extremely tempted to read the books to find out where this is all going...
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Eric? Hot? LMFAO!!! What a boring dude...looks-wise. Fucking stereotypical blond "beauty". Meh...I'll pass. And the long doesn't help either.
I'm also getting SERIOUSLY tired of Jason. He's becoming atrociously annoying. What a dumb fuckhead!
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Lizzy Caplan should get a Best Supporting Actress Emmy nomination next year for her role on True Blood.
Everyone is acting; but a natural and outstanding performance always stands out above the rest.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Yes, the dude they kidnapped proves not all vampires are hot like Bill and Eric. I have the feeling that Jason will have some man-on-man, sex so I hope it with Layfayette or some one hot, not the kidnapped vampire. Maybe, they are teasing us, but it is working.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
This is so frustrating.
Why dont they want to tell us how a vampire is made by a "maker"
I want to know how a person becomes a vampire whats the big secret writers???
Tonight was the perfect opportunity,
"Do you no the procedure?"
"No magistrate i dont"
"First you ...."
The exorcism was so intense and gripping; i wasnt happy when it was revealed to be fake.
Layfayette has a hot body.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Give me Eric and Sam, and I can die a happy man.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
When Sam showed Sookie in the very beginning of the episode what he can do, and she goes "Shut the fuck up!" I laughed my ass off!
Sam's childhood sucked. That was sad. :(
I thought that they had said how a vampire is made? I could be mistaken, but when Bill got bit by that lady, he had to then drink her blood or he would die. There could be more steps, but I dunno.
I do know that I am 100% completely obsessed with this show. Holy shit, it is so good.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
I know what you mean, babe...
But, I dunno...
The show, at least to me, seems to have lost it's focus somewhat.
I can't help but notice that Alan Ball hasn't written or directed an episode in some time. I guess he's just there 'overseeing' everything, or what ever, but parts of this last episode seem silly to me.
Just a coincidence that the lady who performed the 'exorcism' is found working at a drug store in a wig. Umm. OK. As it turns out she has lots of kids, one with diabetes, so drowning a possum on the side is just a justifiable way of making a little extra cash.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
^ I didn't see that one coming, quite honestly! I thought that yeah, here's two fucked up women that have "demons" inside of them.
I did feel bad for the girl at the end. Poor Jessica. :(
And why am I just realizing that Amy was Janis from "Mean Girls?" I love that movie!
Anywho, I was shocked when Amy did what she did (I don't want to give anything away.) I was like holy shit, um, there's going to be some serious repercussions when you do that. Idiot!
Still love the show! ..|

OMG! She is Janice from Mean Girls. I've been thinking about Mean Girls scenes all week how did I not get that?#-o
Hourly retard moment aside, I'm absolutley in love with this show! Why isn't it next Sunday yet?! Watching Rene dance was so hot, when he talks I get horny. Sam's childhood was really sad, it's always so tragic when people have flashbacks of their childhood. I really thought the whole demon thing was real from the way Terra was shaking, and the "demon" appearing, and the blood from nowhere on the knife. Bill"s coming home to Sookie kissing Sam, yay! Oh, I was dying when Terry went, "There's some dead people I wish were here too."

Thank you! I was thinking the same shit. I think it's cause the characters are so far apart. Plus her hair worn long just throws me off.

I think they've already shown us. So we know that humans can drink vampire blood and it heals them, gets them higher than Jesus, makes them stronger, turns them into fuck bunnies, and they don't turn into vampires, right? The vampirism is supposed to be cause by a "virus", so this shows that the virus isn't in a vamps blood. When they showed Bill being turned the key part was that she bit him, then he drank her blood. So I think the virus is stored in their fangs, when they bite someone the virus spreads through their body, but oh no! The virus can't survive on the normal human blood, so the vampire has to introduced some of their already infected blood into the human's system. Instead of getting them high, the infected blood, together with the virus , take over the human blood and turn the person vampiric.
Just what I think though.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
^
Ok, i did some reasearch and this is what i found.
The vampire drains the humans body until near death; then the human drinks some of the Vampires blood and then the human body dies and 2 - 7 days later the Vampire rises.
Although you have early risers that wake up a few hours after being turned.

Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
So, who/what was that thing Tara found (and nearly ran over) by the road?
I want Amy to have a slow painful death in the hands of the vampires :grrr:

I now know what that thing is... but I won't tell or spoil it for you :)
I thought everybody knew that a vampire is made when a vampire sucks all the blood of a human to the point of almost death of said human, then the vampire makes the human drink from his (the vampire's) blood. They explained it all too well in Interview with a vampire... unless they changed the method in true blood
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
^ Well, I guess you got your wish ;)
Was I the only one that noticed Mary Ann was the "woman" that ran Tara off the road in the first place? WTF?
And Drew Marshall? Is that....Andy?
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
That looked like Renee to me.

Oops, I thought you were talking about Mary Ann :D

Rene :( say it aint so, not my Rene :cry::cry:
Hopefully its not really him because its too obvious to be him so maybe the killer will be someone else but not my Rene
Why do i always fall for the bad guys. First Sylar, now Rene :( not my Rene.
________________
Before Amy killed Eddie i liked her alot; but i still felt bad that she died.
Tara and her mom? What an intense and raw scene, both actresses nailed it although i dont know if Tara had to use all those expletives. As mad and disappointed as i could be with my mother no way in hell i could talk to her like that lol.
The pig lady Maryann and Tara that looks interesting.
Jessica was annoying and immature and since she died she is unlikely to experience any growth.
Sookie? What a bitch, i never had a problem with her until tonight with the way she treated Bill.
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
Fuck! So many annoying characters on the show right now...it's starting to lose it's appeal quite frankly.
Sookie turned into an annoying brat, Jason's an annoying and dumb stupid fuck, Sam's a lil' better now (probably because Bill was out of the way for some time) but still a bit annoying...list goes on.

I think there is some great acting on this show, but Lizzy (the girl who plays Amy) wouldn't come near the top of my list of the best. But maybe that's because everything about her character irritates the shit out of me.
Anyway, I love this show. I never know what's coming next. I could never say that for "6 Feet Under".

Jason barely clothed... again  Who'd have tought?
He has the most amazing body, and I appreciate seeing him runing around in his wet undies... but he's ... repulsive. It's a weird feeling to me... I feel attracted and repulsed by him at the same time
Renée!!!! What a twisted MF!
That Maryann character looks promising.
Why don't they get Eric naked already! :grrr:
Oh! and I can't stand Sookie anymore... what a dumb bitch!
Amy is dead! Amy is dead! :gogirl: But she got off easy... I'd have loved a slow and painful death in the hands of the vampires... oh well!
-
Re: HBO's "true Blood" [merged]
I'm glad i'm not the only one who thought Sookie was behaving like a selfish brat. I know she's the star of the show, but it's kind of irksome that EVERYBODY is interested in her. I felt bad for poor Tara, but at least her subplot with Mary-Ann looks intriguing.
And I agree about Jason. Physically, he a sexy guy but he's repulsive at the same time. Sure he's as dumb as a box of rocks but there's something more than that...it's like he's got some serious holes in his soul. I think he's kind of creepy.
And I had a bad feeling about Renee ever since his little proposal scene. There was some ominous foreshadowing in that...
Otherwise, I was little sorry they killed off Amy so soon. I thought it would have been more interesting if she got turned into a vampire herself.
