bi guys and their pictures

Observation turned question for the bi guys on here...

First off, I love the bi guys. I've slept with or messed around with quite a few of them and really get off on it. There is no drama, no bullshit and they're nearly always cool...unlike us gay guys that have to throw in some sort of drama or macho act or whatever afterwards...especially when we meet in a bar or whatever on accident afterwards...

Now for my question: Why is it that bi guys rarely post their pictures or have one to send on websites like gay.com or manhunt.com? They're on there, they're chatting and talking sex and most of the guys I have talked to take the conversatoin all the way to what we will do sexually when we get together (as in hooking up right then and there.) I always ask for a face pic before I hookup...better to be disappointed by an outdated pic than show up on a toad's doorstep and have to tell them that they are in fact a toad. Most of these guys never seem to have a pic to send...and that is where the hookups generally fall apart.

Why is that? If they like dick or messing around with guys, and go so far as to try to hookup online, then why not show your face? What's the big deal? Please understand my question - I know that lots of gay guys refuse to put pics up out of shame, or not being out, or whatever, but I am specifically asking why the bi guys do this?

some other bi guys and I are like that mostly because our bi-side is a closeted part of our sexuallity.

until we meet you in person, we still think you might be a coworker, a friend of a friend, classmate etc etc

I'm a very open bisexual and not at all ashamed or hiding anything. But I realise the reaction and judgment towards bisexuals is extremely critical and harsh. There's a fear (similar to gays) of being outed and discriminated.

Don't want to be outed until I'm far away from my family.

You see, perfect example. Fear paralyzes humans from progressing. Whether you choose to hide or reveal your sexuality is your own business, but live life happily and on your own terms. Don't let society hinder you.

if i decide to utilize the services of an adult discreet dating site, i would have no problem using a picture.

or in any other scenario. sometimes i just fear the exposure.

From a bi-curious guy's perspective, most of us are petrified if it got out that we were curious. Unlike those who have come out as gay, we have yet to figure out our lifestyle and we are uncommited, and we want to keep it that way until we're sure.

I never give out face pics until I have got to know know someone for reasons of safety and because i'm not out. It must be recognized that there are some nasty people around ready to do harm to others. *|*

I prefer to be open and honest about my bisexuality. People don't understand how someone could be attracted to both sexes, and even if they are, they aren't out.

In a way, I feel as if I'm speaking out for bisexuals. Just to let society know "We are here TOO" and that we're not ashamed. It's not right to subject yourself to fear.

Courage and balls is all it takes.

It is like the Amish society. Once you go to the other side you can be shunned by the family and community. Nobody ever wants to be shunned. That would be worse than living in the closet if you are not ready to come out and risk loosing important people in your life.

Google's image search isn't helping matters either.......

Many times photos aren't shared because they are married ......

Whether you are gay or straight or bi, just be honest with yourself first. Curiousity is only the first time. If you keep having sex with men ur not curious, you're gay.

Exactly! Same here, a little bit of everything mentioned above. You worry about it getting out and if you're a classmate or teammate cause then that just makes things WAY too awkward.
