Ok I have to say I love this song so much..I'm really obsessed with it..and I love the video especially at the end when shes dancing like tina turner and all crazy like..alot of people have been hating on her though...some even started a petition for her to do a reshoot of the video....I just think people need to get used to this song..because its different..but its similar to crazy in love ..in terms of what it samples..(I.E. horn sample) ..anyway ..I do think this album (B'Day sep 4) was a little rushed....just because they know beyonce makes "hits".

I love Deja Vu and the video for it too!

I wasn't feeling it too much at first, mainly because of Jay-Z's useless vocals in the song, but now I'm really starting to like it. Nothing against Jay-Z, I just don't very much like it when singers have a guest rapper in their song and what they rap has nothing to do with the song. It's just random mumbbling.

I like the song, but I hate the way she sings the bridge...she's belting loudly, but she stays in one register, which gives it a lot of tension there...

I checked out her new video for "Ring the Alarm". If you guys didn't like the video for "Deja Vu" because of her psychotic dance moves, you'll hate the video just as much, because it shows her in a prison-setting where she's gone mad!

Her dancing reminded me of Josephine Baker.

Just saw the video and I have to say I really like it, both the song and video. It's really different. I see a little Chicago and definitely a little Basic Instinct in the video and I like it.

Now I'm actually looking forward to her cd. I can't believe I just said that.

lol I see what you mean..but I dont know even though of course..I know what Deja Vu means..I still manage to understand what she means in the song and it's correlation to the video. And I must say, the end of the video is the best part.

I love Beyonce, she's so talented and HOT.

I gave in, I pre-ordered her new cd iTunes and I find myself listening to Deja Vu constantly. Plus, I'm really loving her next single, and the video is great too.

what the hell! thats the first time ive seen that clip and its is so bizarre! it didnt have any meaning at all...it looked great but yer i dunno and it was just too much psychotic dancing i started to get a headache! Beyonce's sophmore album, B'Day, is set to be released on September 5th. A web site claims that the album may be pushed back to give Beyonce more time to work on other songs to possibly include.
Her father and manager, is trying to get Sony BMG to push back the album because he is not satisfied with the end result plus all of the tracks on the album were leaked onto the internet yesterday and basically that shit sucks.

I think family Knowles should just scrap Bee's whole album coz it sucks and this could possibly be her last saving grace. Stop blaming the internet for Christ's sakes... in this day and age every album WILL leak prior to its release come what may!

I still think she looks like a run away slave in the Deja Vu video.

I think he means it leaked...and the responses are not positive...usually people will download the album to sample it and still buy the album to support the artist..which is what I do...if I dont like it I delete it.

Thats true....but whatever...i've listened to the album and it is worth what ever they charge..regardless of what a critic or huge haters are saying... I'd buy B'day over any shit thats out right now..completly worthless..and since Fergie's song went number one..i have stopped listening to the radio...the music industry just died.

What else should B expect but a slump on this album?

1. She recorded the thing in 1 week without telling anyone - and it's showing now
2. Its her Sophomore album, which usually doesn't do well for most artists

Damn good album too..and deja vu finally manged to make number 1...hey for an album created so fast...it's 10 times better than christina..(who's album I really liked)..but hey...thats my opinion lol

She only hit #1 on the R&B chart because of the single being released to walmart and other places, which is funny because I never recalled her songs being released on hard copies. It makes you think her record label really wants a #1 summer hit.

Deja vu is a good hit, it just doesn't capture you like her previous hits (baby boy, crazy in love, check on it) do.

Lmao..Beyonce done lost her marbles. That song, including the new one Ring the Alarm..it's all just horrid. The first time I heard Deja Vu the only thing I thought was WTF. I didn't think it could get any worse. Then I saw the damned video. I died laughing so hard I think I pissed my pants. Chewing gum while she's all up on Jay-Z pulling his belt out...the random running through the field, then at the swamp...then ALL of a sudden she's in the desert taking us back to Africa with some weird ass jiggle-jiggle vibration of the legs in some kind of voo-doo trance. This album will be as bad as Paris Hilton's.

She better be glad she's got Dreamgirls (even though Jennifer Hudson steals the show anyway).

Ok I'm going to have to put you on blast for that comment...."aint no other man" is a pretty good song....but when you hear the shit like 50million times in one day on the radio...you realize that christina needs to fucking shut her face up with all that sing-screaming. The shit is not radio friendly anymore...more like radio cacophonous.

I think Deja Vu is an awesome song obviously...but I think she should have never have went with rich harrison(who did crazy in love) it kind of sounds the same...but I love them both.

Like i said I like the album..it's ok...but she went wrong with the whole secret mission shit....she should have let her father in on this and sony...before going and doing this shit by herself..I say she did a decent job..hiring her own producers,etc...Sony accepted it because Beyonce is a hit maker whether it goes to number one or not...pretty much everything she makes..goes into the top 10.

You're right, I don't have the authority to say that it's a fact, but in my own opinion it is her worst. However, the general consensus seems to be negative. So much so that even her father had to write a 3rd grade level press release talking about how much bad press the new album/songs/videos are getting.

At first I didn't like the song but it grew on me. The video is funny as hell though.

True dat. I was sick of Jay-Z years ago. His presence in Deja Vu is completely unnecessary and I might be inclined to actually somewhat like the song if it wasn't for his stupid "UH!......UH!" at the beginning and the crappy little rap he does before the bridge.

Beyonce disappointed me greatly... sure, i'm glad she can switch up the sound, but she lost the quality.... it sounds rushed, it just isn't... stellar, like her last album was... *sigh* But thank you for putting this up all the same.
