not to say most cops are this bad
Most cops are assholes. In my experiences, 9 out of 10 cops are macho thugs in uniforms. With that said, I wouldn't want to have their job for all the tea in China. I saw the report, you are talking about on TV, the other night. They were getting to much joy out of what they had done. It was very upsetting. It reminded me of Nazis.
End of the day -- if a person is breaking the law... they shouldnt have any rights. Im a firm beleiver of that.

Yes, but for that to be an effective policy, you'd have to be 100% sure that the person in question IS actually breaking the law. I mean, that's what we have a justice system for- to protect citizens, and everyone is innocent until proven guilty no? Or at least that's how it should ideally be.Quote:

Yes but the law was passed so there is no point in raising that argument.
There are laws in the UK now which will be revoked in the future.
