We have been having extreme weather. I got lots of rain and lots of wind, but no damages. I do appreciate your concern - thank you! Took the day off as it has been a busy weekend. Back to work tomorrow.

While people often leave the JUB, some with drama and some quietly, his was rather quick and unexpected. I do not know if that many people knew how sick or how ill he was. We do think we are indestructible and that there will always be a tomorrow. Any reminder of just how fragile our existence is and just how precious time is are always both shocking and disturbing.

I had a few comments with Lefty. Really did not get to know him. He was always kind and generous with a compliment. Many times I felt I didn't understand what he was saying - he had some slang I'm not familiar with. He was so very active in the JUB, his death leaves a void in many people's JUB experience

He did post in the Dog thread and showed a strong sentimental side that I think he might have been a little ashamed of. I never ventured into his two threads that I did see - - Leave a dump ... - Asian Moon or Japanese Rain and Thunder. I'd know them if I saw them.

He did seem to have an abrasive side, but I think he only showed it with those he really cared about or was close to. He never showed it to me, but I read some posts that were not diplomatic, though mostly correct.

I'd be really embarrassed if you had, blessing in disguise...? It is more than completely understandable. Thanks for thought.

Yeah, most of the people that I interacted with are gone, but there are still a lot of great people here. I miss the voice thread too! Maybe we should bring it back to life this weekend.
