What the frak do I do now that I made a Facebook account for our prganization?

I just made another Facebook account for Friends of Bayocean, because the first one vanished.

I have a page that's mostly pale blue. I have no idea what to do with it next.

Anyone out there who uses Facebook have any guidance?

Annoying sound through speakers

Hey all!

(First: I apologise in advance for my grammar or bad spellings; English is not my native language.)

Since I have bought myself some new speakers (brand Trust), there is an annoying sound coming out of them, which has something to do with my mouse I guess.
When I don't move the mouse, I hear a constant 'PEEP'-tune in the background of my left speaker, and a constant noise on the right one. (Like a crispy sound; as if a radio is out of tune.)
When I lift up the mouse, the 'PEEP'-tune goes down (sort of 'PEEEEEEW' - same sort sound there is in funny cartoons when something or someone has been thrown away (only in my case there is no 'POOF' nor mushroom cloud at the end)).

Hopefully one of you all do recognize this problem, and is able to help me out. Not only the sound is extremely annoying, after turn of the computer the 'PEEP' will stay in my ears for about 30 minutes (as if I went to a rock concert).

Speakers are from Trust;
PC and mouse are from HP (mouse has a USB-tail);
PC runs with Windows 8

tumblr images problem

This problem has happened only in last couple of days. I like looking through images on tumblr, and in the past I have had no problem scrolling down images. EVEN when I was on very little RAM over a month ago I could do it, but the lower I went the slower of course. BUT since then I have rewed my RAM to 2 Gbs, and it was amazing to see difference of speed when looking at tumblr images. HOWEVER, I think that the software has changed. The pages of tumblr have a different look, and I am not having trouble seeing the images appear. For example, I just opened an archive and only about 30 pics are visible, when I scroll down you can see the empt boxes and when I scroll over some images pop up, but this is 1000 percent worse than even when I had VERY little RAM. So please tell me what do you think the problem is??

I finally broke away from my iPhone. I got bored after 4 years and wanted to try something new so I went with the GS4. Only had it a day so I'm not done playing with it. The main thing that stands out is the easiness of adding music/photos to your phone. Just as simple as opening a window and copying it over. I still have my iPad and my old 3GS I use as an iPod around the house so I'm not free yet :) Does anyone else have one and how do you like it so far?

Anyone know how to make a Yahoo account for an organization?

I've been going in circles, trying to get a not-for-profit organization running for my conservation work. The business name registration form won't accept a submission without an email account for the organization -- not a personal account, either.

I gave up on evil google, and moved to try Yahoo, but so far it doesn't seem any friendlier.

So... anyone know the ropes? or how I can actually contact their customer care instead of being told I can but referred to the help menu?

oh -- and while I'm at it, can I make an organization account on Facebook?

DVDs on Windows 8

Last week I watched a DVD I rented on my new laptop that came with windows 8. Everything was fine.. Now today I rented a different DVD movie and when I put the DVD in, nothing happens. I can hear it rotating in there, but nothing. (its not the DVD cuz I put it in another dvd player and it worked fine), is there something I am forgetting to do? or need to do?

Can I deactivate "pinned" lists.

Well, not legally. But a blessed soul got me a new laptop -- and it came already cursed with Windows 8. After hours of not-quite pulling my hair out, but taking antacids and a chill-pill, I finally managed to get Firefox installed, and went out and got me a nice item that turns the Windows 8 interface back pretty much into the Windows 7 one.

In a just world, Microsoft would pay me $30/hr for trying for three hours to figure out their idiocy, plus $300 for pain and suffering.

$3000 for punitive damages wouldn't hurt, either.

Mobile Network IP Address?

My email account was hacked the other day. I learned about the "view recent sign in" feature on Yahoo where it shows you a history going back a day or so of all of your sign-in attempts and the location (just the city/country) and IP address, and whether accessed via PC or mobile. The PC's were easy to pick out.....home and work. The mobile, I saw two different ones the day of the hacking, one in Massachusetts in the morning hours, and then one in New York in the afternoon. I am in New York, so I assumed the NY was me and the MA was a hacker. Today, I view the recent sign ins and see a different IP address for a mobile network from Ohio. I thought that I had been hacked again. Then I tested something out, logged on with my phone, and then checked and it looked like the Ohio IP address actually WAS my phone. This may be a naive question, but could my phone's IP address be constantly changing over that wide of an area, where maybe it's assigned one temporarily in one area, and then switches? Not a tech geek here, so dumb this down for me please. Thanks.

iTunes/iMac help please

Hello Everyone!

Can someone please help me with my iTunes/iMac questions please.

I have 325 albums within my iTunes that consist of full length albums, singles, compilations and soundtracks of movies. My question is mostly with the soundtrack/compilation albums.

For example I have the soundtrack to Burlesque. The only artist on this soundtrack are Christina Aguilera and Cher. I have the actual album marked as various artist and than under each song I have the correct artist in the "artist" field. Also under each song "part of a compilation" is checked. When using my iPod if I go to list the music by artist and I go to Cher or Christina Aguilera there the songs are along with any other music by the same artist. Which to me is how it should be.

Now, I also have the soundtracks for Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2 (I know I am a dork). Let me forward this with I only have certain songs from each sound track so this very well could be a my issue. Under both albums I have them marked as various artist with the correct artist(s) under each song. Also I have "part of a compilation" marked under each song. When I go to my iPod and list by artist Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, etc. do not exist. But if I list by album there they are.

I also have a compilation album of Disney Channel Hits. Again, only kept certain songs. Hayden Panettiere happens to be one of the artist on this album. She is the ONLY artist from this album that is listed when I list by artist on my iPod. The rest are not on this list at all. But again the album is there if I list by albums.

With all scenarios I have checked under each song and nothing seems out of the ordinary.

One last issue....

I have now been shown how to go into my computer and look under my iTunes folder on my hard drive (yea, I know I am slow). How come NO compilation albums show up here or a folder for the artist on compilation albums? If I go to the top right and search "Demi Lovato" the songs do show but if I just go into the music folder there is NO folder for Camp Rock, Camp Rock 2, Burlesque, Country Strong, Ella Enchanted, etc.?

Any help would be appreciated...
